I confess

My hobby has definitely put extra pressure on my wife, mother to my 2 beautiful children.
Honestly I feel a bit turned off by her lately. After so many years I guess we just tolerate each other.
No support, just tolerated. We exist in the same house but are universes apart. Sometimes I ask if I’m blessed..or cursed? I love her. She is everything I am not! Soft, kind, caring, gentle, and clean.

I got her flowers Friday. Planted more today. Tomorrow I hope she takes the day and leaves me alone.

Happy Mother’s Day! :flyhigh:

I feel you man.

I once heard a theory on relationships that makes a ton of sense to me and totally lines up with my experience.

I’ve had a few 3-5 year relationships where it was great for a couple years then got to like you said where you’re tolerating each other. So I’d bounce.

Anyway this anthropologist was saying he thinks humans aren’t designed to stay together forever. We’re designed to meet, hook up, and then be into each other for 4-7 years which is just long enough to have kids and let them grow big enough to not be helpless and vulnerable.

Then you’re over each other and go do it all over with somebody else.

As far as that goes, I try to glean our true nature by observing our closest relatives, primates. They tend to keep a collection of ladies they bang and knock up as needed. This is the way.

I have been spending an increasing amount of time at the man cave. I installed a speaker system throughout the entire place. No more headphones and I can hear it as loud as I like no matter what room I’m working in.
I have it pretty good for now. I need to be thankful. Try to protect what is mine while looking for opportunity. Let’s face it, in America the mother of your kid’s wields a mighty sword in the eyes of our governors.

The goal is to exit the door the same way of entry. Cautiously with hands out in front. Not with your ass. So I have been told.

I got my second Moderna shot yesterday morning and it’s kicking my ass today. First one I just had a sore arm, this one I felt fine all yesterday but woke up feeling off today. Now my whole body feels like I worked out way too hard

Gonna have some over ripe tubs unless I feel better tonight.

It’s weed, ice cream and movies with the dogs all day today :stoner:

Pfizer side effects reminded me of mild stimulant use, but randomly and out of order. Much of the arm soreness I would attribute to the technique of the administrator and the calmness of the recipient.

This is so true. I felt like I was rolling on Mdma and Shrooms after my first shot. Arm soreness was there but the benefits out weight the risks right?

This week has been pretty tough. In 2014, I had like 300,000 dogecoins. maybe more. I quit the crypto game, thou. and over the years I've had several financial emergencies where I had to borrow money, so if I had kept the coins, at some point I would have sold them off for my debts. But still, fuck man. That would have paid off my college, my truck, my credit cards, and got me a house.

Moderna here. It kicked my wife’s ass for 2 days. So I went to the gym the night before and went to near muscle failure. I felt just fine. Just sore and my mind was set it was just a workout, no pain no gain. That’s what I did anyway.

The first shot I could feel it tighten my lungs.

Confession, I was scared the second shot.

Our soldiers have been getting all kinds of vaccines for decades with no choice. They do it for us. I did it for them!

lol yeah for a minute I was messing with Bitcoin when it was around $7. I think the same thing, there’s literally no way I would still have it now even if I had held onto them at the time.

Crypto is nuts. My cousins were into programming when they were like 12-17 and coded these simple games on a site where people payed like 1.00 in bitcoin to play them. Since it wasn’t worth much and they didn’t need money cuz they were kids it just piled up and now they have something wild like 5 million.
