I feel ya Doctor Mario! I am healthy. I have a black belt, I do lots of long distance/long term hiking and camping. I do whitewater rafting and mountain biking. I rode my bike to work every day (back when I could) rain, snow, sleet, etc. I always have and still look like a crackhead. My muscles are very toned but the only people who would know are my girlfriend and anyone whose seen my lift something with my shirt off. To everyone else, I look emaciated. That isn't so bad by itself, but it is beyond frustrating to have people constantly tell me I'm living wrong. Even as a kid I thought it was really weird that it was rude to call someone fat or make fun of being overweight but the same people who CONSTANTLY made fun of me being skinny. I tried a few time over the years to bulk up. It just doesn't work. Every one kept saying that will change in your 20s but that was 10+ years ago and I still don't think I've ever broken 135lbs.

You gotta eat a ton of protein all day. Like every couple hours. Then do zero cardio and lift barbells heavy enough you can only get like 3 reps.
That’ll usually do it.
Or you know, HGH.
I was the definition of a hardgainer so I’m assuming it’s the same for you guys, it’s a ton of work to put the size on but once you do it’s there to stay. Last time I got back into it I put like three inches on my arms in a couple weeks, which took me probably a year the first time.
Lol gypsy when I was in high school I rarely wore a shirt at home and when I shaved my head my mom told me I looked like the people from the pictures of labor camps in ww2.

I’m 6 ft 225 but when I lifted 2 hrs and ran 3 miles every day for a year I was 220 and jacked diesel. Now i got a bit of a belly when I’m not sucking it in. I still have most of the mass, but it is slowly turning to mush

Im 6' 6" and the most I have ever weighted is 235 lbs. I sit around at a happy 185 now days, but I make sure to supplement my daily diet with Shitty Light beer and it helps to keep the lbs off. ( I also work in manual labor so I have probably gained a few lbs of mass over fat in the last 3 months.)

If you're a "hard gainer" you just need more calories, not more protein. If you guys are at the 40 year mark I'd consider TRT. I'm 41 and I've been taking testosterone for 3 or 4 years now every week. Gaining and maintaining muscle is super easy with the correct amount of test and a proper diet. Even when I feel out of shape my other guy fiends think that I'm jacked. I was a skinny teenager and adult, I was 135lbs and 5'7 when I enlisted. I sit around 170 when being lazy, and around 185 when working out.
No need to lift like a power lifter though, best to mix your week up into upper lower, heavy 6 rep upper lower days for mon and Tues, Wed off, Thurs Fri are higher hypertrophy days with 8-12 rep range. Best of both worlds and it makes you strong pretty quick. 8 weeks of that and you will definitely look and feel different.
175mg test/week is upper range of normal. Gives me the free test of a 20 year old. When I'm working out I do between 250mg and 500. 250 is decent, gets you strong fast and isn't considered a large dose. 500mg is considered a basic cycle but I've noticed over the years that its not necessary.

believe me, on the below freezing nights huddled with my dog in my sleepingbag trying to stay warm in the tent I would have loved to be fat. My core tempt drops so fucking quick it's scary. I usually try to gutload for at least a month before heading out and even then any weight I gain is gone and then some by the time I get back.

I noticed a big change around 40, paddling out, surfing, was exhilarating before and then it became hard. Also it seems like I started running out of adrenaline, bad for an adrenaline junky.
I was usually 155 until my first wife discovered beef for morning sickness. Then we had so many roasts, I gained 10 lbs to 165. Now at 74 I'm 173, 5'11".
Around 50 I noticed injuries weren't exactly going away and I just started collecting them. Now more times than not, when I try working out, I injure something.
My shoulders are screwed now, I've surfed about eight times since the frozen shoulder 2 yrs ago. But now it's a matter of surfing and blowing it out again or not surfing and not being in pain all the time. Right now is the big wave season for "little Hawaii" here in Puerto Rico, 8'-20'. So I have to sit out, only fun waves for meeeeeee.
And remember those kids grow up in the wink of an eye!

I wrestled 112 and 119 up thru my senior year... couldn't gain weight to save my life... got up to about 125 by the time I joined the army at 23... put on another 25 lbs thru training... stuck right around the 150 mark for a few years till my drinking caught up with me... got up to 180 and was like Fuck This!.. quit drinking beer for 5 weeks and lost 30 lbs... no working out, still eating everything... I think I might be gluten intolerant or something cuz when I have a few beers now, all my joints hurt... lol

I'm glad that I'm not the only skinny dude here. No matter where I go, I'm always the tallest and thinnest guy in the room.

It is wild how different the human body can be. 30 years old 6'1" here, been cutting weight lately, 184 lbs this morning. I feel tiny as fuck, couldn't imagine being 30-50 lbs lighter again! Graduated high school at 125-130. Half assed lifting on and off over the years. Past 2 years i've really dedicated myself to lifting, i'm a c hair shy of the 1000 lb club. Spend about 10-12 hours a week in the gym; heavy lifting, 5k three times a week, lots of stretching. Nothing impressive, but better than the average gym goer.
Here's a confession; I'm really considering juicing next year but we'll see where natty lifting takes me first. Haven't told anyone in my life that i am thinking about it, because i know all the stigma around steroids, but if you're smart about it, they're not that dangerous. You just always hear the horror stories of people who pushed it too far y'know? I'm not competing or anything so who fuckin cares if i'm natty or not, i just wanna be fuarkin huge!

The way I see it is this:
If women can be congratulated for taking testosterone to become something they're not, then why is there a problem with men taking more of what they already have to become more of what they already are?

Because obviously they don’t have it, otherwise they wouldn’t need it to be what they are not.
Edit: I don’t care what folks do to themselves though. Just don’t rage on me.
