I confess that my wife just broke my ps4 pro and I'm pretty bummed out. I'm trying not to show it because she feels super bad but FML.

Every 3-5 years I pull up this particular art bell coast to coast show from 1998. It’s about a guy who claims to be from 2063 and is part of a government time travel program.
He’s obviously extremely intelligent and well versed in a variety of subjects. He’s also either a brilliant actor/improvisation and made some lucky guesses, or he’s for real. Just about every question he answered lines up perfectly with what’s happened since and even current theoretical physics theories from the last couple years.
Next time you’re bored or super high check it out. The quality isn’t great but it does improve a few minutes in.

I confess again that I hope this shit and what we do changes at a societal level just like cannabis has. There are so many people on here that I could see myself being real friends with but there's also just totally awesome people like psilopsychin, aka and p9 just to mention a few that are such genuinely decent human beings that I can only dream of viewing the world through their lens some day. For now, I'll keep being a miserable fuck as I'm trying to do good in the world but keep failing.
On another, less emotional note, my wife is the funniest and most devious fuck I've ever met. Over the last few years I've noticed that our silverware drawer has been losing big spoons. We started with like 15, but were down to 10 or something within a year. I figured it was leaving them at the office or something. But one day I noticed that we had like 17 small spoons. I made a joke to her that "I think the dishwasher is shrinking the spoons".
Welp, about a year into working from home the trend continues, and just now when I'm unloading the dishwasher there is like 5 big spoons and 20 small ones. So I asked her "okay, so what the fuck is going on?" And she burst out laughing. She explained that for our wedding we got two sets of the same silverware and instead of returning it she thought she'd keep some for work and shit, but instead decided to play a 4 year prank on me by slowly replacing the spoons

I feel the same way, man. It would be awesome to have shroomerite gatherings. There's more than a handful of you guys that I'd love to fly out and spend some time with. That's awesome D3! I'm skinny as fuck and I hate it. No matter what I do I can't gain weight. Doesn't matter what I eat or how much I work out. Everyone said that when I hit my late 20's, I'd gain weight. Nope. Metabolism is fked.

I used to be like that, weighed 120lbs until I was in my mid 20’s. I quit smoking and blew the fuck up. Got up to like 236lbs in less than a year. I worked hard to loose all of it, did paleo, p90x and insanity and started smoking pot again. got back down into the 150’s but tore my shoulder and got a hernia pushing too hard one day. That was like 8 years ago, 6 years ago I had to quit smoking weed for this job. I slowly put all the weight back on.

Body type determines a lot, ectomorphs have a really hard time building mass and will always look lean, maybe a potbelly but no significant mass. I’m a 40-60 mesomorph endomorph which means I can gain muscle really fast and burn fat almost as fast but, if I stop lifting it turns back into fat pretty quick too. I can cut weight fast too, I lost 80 lbs in 3 months just from cutting sugar and beer and lifting 4 times a week. But it comes back quick too.

The speed at which you gain muscle mass has a lot to do with muscle memory as you age. I too have such an easy time putting mass on with very little effort, but doing nothing loses it just as quick

Yeah I’m 42 but had a history of being pretty fit most of my life. Definitely age is catching up with my ass though, feel old now.

I’m almost 30 and finally have that “sleeper” strength. Some would call it farmer strength or retard strength, but basically I don’t look as big as I used to but can still put it up

When you’re 6’3” and built heavy everyone assumes you’re strong or stronger than you look. But I’m definitely well past my prime, mostly due to injuries but the grey hair is creeping in as well.

I’m 40, as a kid I couldn’t gain weight for the life of me and no matter how much I lifted I just got really toned I didn’t bulk up. When I was wrestling being 120lb really limited my options. I was eating a shit ton too and that weight gainer 2000 shakes. Never budged a lb. now I have some pastor tacos and I gain 5lbs and hold it for weeks 🤣

I'm definitely on the overly-thin side of the scale. Just turned 31. I'm 6'1 and weigh about 135lbs. The most I've ever weighed was 145lbs and that was when I was in prison. I worked out 3 times a day and 5 days a week for 4 years. I didn't even get big I just got really cut up and I confess that that pisses me off. The day I got out I started smoking cigarettes, staying up late and sleeping in and I lost the cut look in about 6 months lol. Haven't worked out in almost 8 years now.

Dude you’ve got a good frame for fighting. I wish mma was a thing when I was a kid. I’m 6’4 and weighed 165 forever. But it’s great for boxing, I was skinny but with a monster reach and still just so big overall that I could still do real damage which is the problem a lot of smaller weigh classes have. They just whack the shit out of each other but rarely does anybody get knocked out. Same with bjj, long limbs with lots of reach and leverage. It can also go the other way though if they get a hold of your arm
When I was 21 I decided to try hitting 200lb and got into lifting. It took me FOREVER to build noticeable mass at first but like somebody said with muscle memory even when I quit lifting and shrink down I can get back to close to as big as I had gotten before very quickly. Just getting there initially was the hard part.
Now I’m about 240. Idk how much is age but I suspect it’s mostly from being on opiates which are slowing my metabolism. The biggest I ever got was when I had been lifting seriously for a couple years and had also been on opiates for a couple years, and then quit working out. I continued to eat the same and just blew up. I still feel like I’m a skinny teenager though that’s just how I identify after being that way for so long. It still trips me out when someone occasionally asks if I play football or bounce.
I was busy the last three days and missed a lot here. What’s the latest on the dog doc?

I'm kind of in the same boat as you dr. Mario. I'm just under 6 ft and I cannot get past 150 without binge drinking 12 beers a night for 6 years. That lead me to hitting 200 and shortly after I gave it up. Almost 3 months later I weighed 130 again. I've been working my ass off doing physical labor for the last 6 months and been eating like crazy but still can't get over 145 no matter what.
