Grim the ones I’ve got came from you a while back, not sure what we’re calling nss vs natalensis at this point lol.
I’m about to go drop the print for him though. I’ve been calling it natalensis cuz it’s almost def not a cube and I thought nss was the cube from natal. Shits pretty confusing.
Natalensis has definitely been my favorite trip in a long time.
I got into cult for pretty much the same reasons. I grew up near la and had connections for whatever but I moved about ten years ago and lost touch with a lot of those people. I hadn’t tripped in something like seven years and wanted to so I spent a year looking and couldn’t find anything so I decided fuck it I’ll just handle this myself.
I would occasionally look into cult as far back as 2002 but shit was so different then it didn’t seem feasible especially being in a no spore state and still in high school.

I was considering cult about 8 years ago and what I was reading talked about making glove boxes, pda and putting your cakes in the dark.

Same here, I had been lurking for a long while, except it had been almost 20 years since I tripped. I almost never even participated because the 50 post vpn rule. A buddy in Oregon sent me some wild prints I had just stuffed in a drawer and forgot about until I got into another deep rut of depression and got me thinking about growing again. I was getting bored with peppers and needed something new to occupy my thoughts. So I threw myself into cult head first

Loooool. I love everyone's stories and seeing our paths here is funny. I had a terrible trip with like 5g when I was 18 and swore I would never eat psychedelics again. Well fast forward ten years and drag me through some addictions, recoveries and some societal progress and I eventually ate them again after reading Michael Pollan's book and fell in love.
Now here we are almost a year after I ate them again and I'm growing new species I never knew existed, finding some type of community (I struggle to call you people friends, but like some of you kind of are?) and am certainly impressing myself. Like yeah, I don't have thousands of mushrooms in a monotub but I can grow what I need for medicine

I love you all. Thank you for the encouraging testimonies. I’m going through a separation with my wife and I needed these more than you know

This community and this thread in particular got me through some of the worst times in last decade of my life. Nothing but love for you all, even those with whom I butt heads. In some cases, especially with whom I may butt heads.
Can't and won't say I know what youre going through or who you feel Adrenochrome but this is definitely one of the most supportive places you could be.
Mush love to all of you!!

Lmao!
I started lurking here in 08 after I got outta high school and had started doing acid... had a few minor successes around that time but got sidetracked by a girl and then the army... about 2 years ago my gf said something about microdosing to try to quit cigarettes so I was like fuckit... I can dust off the ol PF tek! But then I checked back in here and there's monos everywhere and the light bulb went off... now, mush cult is about 30% of my waking hours and I wouldn't trade it for the world... my electrical was on the fritz for 3 days and I was so forlorn and depressed... id catch myself just staring at my hood from across the basement...

I was in 9th grade ('07/'08) watching Lets grow mushrooms trying to think about getting everything for PF tek. Never moved a muscle towards cult until maybe a month or so before my register date 10 years later. Cults been life ever since

My first experience with mushrooms was a full quarter when I was a teen. Bought them at a party asked how much I needed to eat and they said the whole thing... fuck that was a rough night. Didn’t touch them again until recently

I confess probably about 10 years ago I ate a quarter of mushroom at my brother's place on new years and I certain point I have absolutely NO MEMORY of that night. I know it happened. I remember insane amounts of anxiety from the come up then at the peak of that 2 friends' disagreement turned into a fistfight, I remember the walk downstair to outside, and from that point the memory blends into other memories of different nights. Ever time I try to recover memories of it, I just end up stuck in a different memory.
The good part I guess is I couldn't be scared away from psychedelics if I can't remember it.
I know this is a bit closer to a trip report, but at least it's a confessions.

I'm really feeling the idea of a thread where we all share our life stories that led us to the awesomeness that is mush cult. I would create that thread myself but my story isnt anything intersting enough to kick that off. I always like to catch a little insight in the life of fellow shroomerites and see how it compares to mine for whatever reason. Could be great reading material. Its a diverse community for sure.

I also confess I am still hoping that my Thai Pink Buffalo from 2009 take off but nothing yet.
