It also helps that the wife doesn't mind folding (and usually labeling) a few hundred tiny pieces of foil... lmao

Wait im confused. You make the prints infront of the flow hood. But then your girlfriend fold them out side the flow of sterile air?
I'm I stupid or isn't it a bad idea to take a unfolded print away from the front of the flow hood before its folded up?
Hope I got my question out correctly

I noticed how well they were folded. Kudos!

well really aint no point in the fh if the fruits were not fruited invitro in a aterile environment. unless done so all spores are dirty to some extent just cuz whatever is in the air around them will b on the spores. i print in my sab for 48hrs at that point il remove the caps n let the prints dry a bit then il take the top off the box and cut the prints in strips and squares in open air. been doin that for a long time and many ppl have gotten prints from me with no complaints

They're left to dry for 24 hours in the boxes and then stacked together... I highly doubt there's that much air flowing thru the folded foils... theyre pressed pretty flat and put in ziploc bags... I haven't heard a single complaint yet...

Damn I confess this makes me happy.
Have have people reach out to me to make tons of prints for them. But since I cannot run my flow hood when ever I want I sounded like to much work. But if I do not need to be doing it all in front of the hood. That makes its so much easier!
Oh and JCM I know the fruits ain't fruited in clean air. But I thought thats why we prints once and then the second print will be a lot cleaner. Also, even tho the fruits fruited in open air I do not find that a reason not to be as clean as possible for the printing process?
Thanks for sharing tho guys. Qay more prints and giveaways coming from me now when I know this

I set everything up in front of the hood but once they're boxed, I just stack em off in a corner...

no i still try to be as clean as possible however i only print once for 48hrs and thats it. all in the sab and covered. i only cut the strips n squares in open air. then they r folded and bagged. i have sent out many many prints and i have never actually had someone tell me they had contam issues. im always as clean as possible but i dont go crazy with it is all. i still thrn off all hvac and any fans and close the door where im working and i dont hover over them while im cutting or folding.

Man, I feel like I've been overly cautious. I cut foil in my SAB, taking care to keep the "sterile" side of the foil pointed down, take print while tented in SAB, moved to 2nd print and repeat, then make the first edge folds before bringing them out.

whatever makes ya happy and confident man. i use to do all that but as i started printing so many it just wasnt feesable to take that long on them especially when i was just givin them away to ppl who were gnna be usin agar anyway. and even the way i do it now my prints are pretty damn clean and im sure there is several ppl here who can attest to that. i try to be as cleann as possible within reason. i mean just dont be slob n u should be fine and its no worse than the environment u fruited in

lol. I did a few here and there in the SAB then I tried building shelves for in the SAB but that didn't work so I started playing with this idea and its been a dream ever since... I can currently print 20 dozen caps at one time... if the need ever arises... lol

I confess I’m not printing my own fruit ever again. I’m dropping them off at roarkells house.
Which one of those paper cutters do you like the most? Cause I’m buying one.

Haven't actually had that many printing all at once but ill do rounds of 4-6 dozen off each type of box depending on what they are... I just did 10 dozen LPEU cuz those seem to be "in" right now... otherwise I expanded just for my x7x project... looking for pink spores is kinda tough of you dont print everything... lol

I've seen cheap versions at walmart. Better ones at specialty craft or office stores.

This isn't the first time this thread has had an awesome exchange on one topic. JCM great explanation! Roarkell ah that's why yer print so neat with pretty tiny printing! D3 ya baby let's farm it out to Roarkell! However,,,, I'M staying with precutting foils BABY! It all happens in da SAB!
Myc hunt, I think I had the same experience noticing the size of grows - bulk. First I learned it's impolite to ask why or what for. Second I realized many TEKs are for bulk grows and expanding product. If your like us, a couple shoebox grows and we were set for a year! It took awhile to discern if a procedure was improving or expanding the grow.
