You crazy jcm!
So I'm trying to grow out a Pan cam Sandose clone I got. Heard they could take lower temps so didnt turn on my heater.
Been away for 2 days. Came back to by far the biggest pan pins I seen! Also the temps says 21.5 C! Really sisnt think they would even pin in these low temps. I'm amazed

imo APE is actually easier than regular PE with the added benefit that they don't even need a peat casing. APE fruits even faster. Regular PE always takes more than a month for me to start pinning while APE was usually ready to harvest within a month. It could have been genetics, who knows. The fact is PE can get monstruos size wise so it makes sense they take even longer than their shorter albino cousin.

I was thinking about joining the fun but I won't have free time before sign up closes. I've got a crazy busy work schedule at the moment. It should lighten up after the 1st. Right now, I literally come home from work, put dehydrated mushrooms in the stockpile, harvest what's ready, mist some tubs and go to sleep. Wake up and repeat.

I’ve had APE clones pin14 days from spawning and I’ve had APE clones pin 6 weeks from spawning. It’s all in the genetics.

Just start small with a gram or a gram and a half, that'll give you an idea of your preferred dose with them without getting you too high.
Then you may not grow anything else for awhile

Yeah when I started I was taking a dry gram as a test dose of each variety and having a fun night where I’d trip for a little and get an idea what it was about.
Then I grew PE and the gram test dose was like a full dose of the other kinds. My dogs getting years older and younger in the space of seconds, then I was super happy for some reason thinking about how bodies are just machines for our minds to ride around in.
Good times.
I confess between the new hood and having all my jars freed up cuz I had no pc for months I’ve been going a little grain crazy this week. Actually it’s really just been knocking up the ten quarts I cooked the night before and putting ten new ones in the pc each day but it’s adding up quick. Gonna be a very productive few months coming up. Especially once I learn how to do like 30-40lbs of grain at a time in bags.

I confess I haven’t even micro dosed in a few months. Intended to drop this Christmas while I was off work but then life happened. Got so many varieties to test. Need to try the tat to see if they still worth running. Though it’s been so long any cube probably rock my shit. Also was gifted some ape and tamps in a meet up so need to try the tamps as he said he loved them and they pretty much all he takes for personal.

Same here. I mostly follow up by clicking "My threads" and there doesn't seem a way to remove threads you're no longer interested in from that view or is there?

You don't have to be ready on 1/1, you just have to post before then that you plan to be a part at some point, so they can link to your signup post (which becomes your grow log for the thread).
I won't be back home until 1/3, potentially getting started on 1/4, maybe later if things don't go to plan. Reading back through the 2020 thread, there were people that didn't get started until weeks later.
