I wonder why he needs to do that, though. Is he a noob or a pro? Maybe you should tell him spawn has a lot of shelf life after 100% colonized.

Yeah I’ve had the fridge kill a few cultures myself, no way am I putting tropical spawn in the freezer, I don’t care if it technically “works.”

My little beer fridge has a freezer, as I'm sure most of you aware how much these things suck due to the cold swings that freeze and kill cultures. My gourmets obviously survive, a handful of cube cultures survive as well but they definitely die from a bit of an ice up.

Maybe they're more susceptible because they're in petri dishes instead of grain

Put em in an insulated lunchbox to help with the swings.

thats exactly what i do pasty. i wrap all my slants in a few layers of papertowels then i foil them and in the lunchbox they go. absolutely zero condensation ever. i also started venting my slants with a sfd to allow for better breathing when in storage.

Just a grain jar with sfd seems to work fine. No condensation issues or anything like that.

Yeah I don't understand man it's really annoying me. I took time out of my day to even go to the warehouse and they still didn't have anything useful to tell me. Spent two hours there calling the "pick up package" phone number and they couldn't even tell me what truck it was on.

I just wanna upgrade my game ugh.

I herrrrrd dat mr Eatualive!

I never thought I'd be so desperate to go into work, or so damned excited to go to the grocery store!

So done with this pandemic shit!

I confess one advantage of the lock down is I've been able to leave my myco shit all over my downstairs without worrying about hiding it when company comes over that isn't cool with it.

You guys are in the middle of a lockdown right now? I wasn't aware of that. In Spain we aren't yet, but currently you can't travel between cities. Looks like a lockdown is near, though.

Please don't say a pistol in the mouth, I had a friend kill himself this morning and its the third one this year. It doesn't bother me really but I don't wish that on anyone. Take it easy and I'm sure there are better options available.
Oh and I said I haven't changed anything since this all started but I have been working like crazy, hard to find mush work time. There are jobs available you just gotta know where to look.

I confess I don’t use my mini rounds for much these days. Feels wrong, like a betrayal. On the other hand I’m liking black agar.

that was obviously a colourful example of dark humor being used to show how fucked up this bullshit is. anyone here who knows me knows damn well i aint really gnna put a pistol in my mouth. however i  could stick a needle in my arm at any time lol but thats just simply the price of bein an addict. one day at a time is all one day at a time😃

I get it. I'm not trying to rag on you or even stop you from joking/committing suicide, but my buddy who was in the early stages of addiction also joked about that stuff too. And it is unfortunate that he got into meth and he shot himself, but he too said simular things to what you said. It makes me mad that I didn't take him seriously, but everyone thought he was just messed up or messing around.

well srry about ur friend.thats what meth will do tho. that shit will make u bat shit crazy. but if i didnt give up durring a 25 year heroin addiction at times when i was naked curled up on the bathroom floor puking and shitting all over myself a virus that gives you a cold sure aint gnna do it to me 😂 it was just an exaggeration was all. just as the situation its self is an exaggeration. or not so much the virus itsself but their scam power grab of a remedy for it. i mean at what point in history did ppl ever qaurantine the healthy? your supposed to do that to the sick. my rights dont end where someone elses fears begin. after all its not ebola. but wait even when it was ebola there still wasnt this shit. but anyway i believe you can joke about anything even rape, cancer, suicide, addiction, race ect ect ect. it just depends on the context is all😃 everyone here knows that mushrooms saved my life and i know im not the only one. i just cant wait for the day the laws can change so more lives can be saved. cuz somethin that can do that much good shouldnt be hidden away and illegal
