finally buckled down and got the xfers made last night a week over due. Looking forward to pouring 350ml LC to 36 quarts this week!
also expanded a sponsor oyster LC to my own 250ml broth, 1st time LC -> LC
Congrats Camera I’m 30 + years in myself. It has its ups and downs, but it’s better if you stick it out and find a way through the rough patches and work it out.

AKA a friend asked if he should have kids. The clock was ticking. I told him it's over rated. The real deal is the desire to have kids, procreate. I had an overwhelming desire and waited even, I was 40 for first born son. But I wasn't much of a dad, I tried, they don't even email now. Meh...

My wife and I were not expecting children. We also did nothing to prevent having them. I wouldn’t trade them for the world. They are one of the greatest blessing we have been afforded the privilege to steward. I learned so much about who I am and the meaning of life from being a father.

I confess that I just put some agar to grains for the first time and now I am excited, afraid that I fucked it up, and impatient to find out. The cakes I've got going from the same spores are growing some pretty chubby shrooms, I'd love to get a whole shoebox full of 'em.

More jars done correct and spores going to agar for WBS later but these 9 jars are a good reminder of everything thing I've learned about mush cult.
ACKTUALLY
those instant rice microwave steam pouches, you know, the instant meal kind with everything already prepared included in the box (just eat the veggies n meat alone this time), those steam pouches can be inoculated after a microwave blast and subsequent cooling. It works. Someone here did it. Don't remember who though.

Maybe I just needed to adjust water amount or something but after pc they were extra funky. Like half solid half dry. I'm letting them play out but don't have much hope.

Yes I agree kids will change your life. It isn't even something you can explain.
Just remember everyone with cats and dogs, your going to outlive them. Kids will hopefully outlive you.

Yea but dogs are much cheaper and less responsibility

Like I tell my wife every time we walk by a dog park, filled with people in their late 20's early 30's, "these people really think their bond with their dog is comparable to what we have"
It's apples and oranges really. Having had dogs my entire life and all of them meaning a lot to me, it's just not comparable.
Money comes and goes and taking responsibility and accountability for this kid allowed me to grow in ways I never thought possible nor would they have been without the kid.
You kill a dog, just go get a new one. Can't say the same about a kid unless your name is Casey Anthony

My brother-in-law and his gf are dog people. They treat these two mutts like children, and while I understand they have personalities and are very enjoyable creatures, they do not have the capacity to experience life the way people do. Even on the most simplistic level, I think about a baby human vs a dog. You can tak all polite to both but actually be saying the most mean hateful words like I fuckin hate you piece of shit trash scumbag loser, but all nice like, and the dog won’t know your saying anything hurtful. But I guarantee that even if the baby human doesn’t know what your saying now, it is effecting him immediately. Our words are powerful. Even if it was in a foreign language with a nice tone, there is something to be said about the way words operate in the airwaves and little has to do with the way they are received.
