Ouch... I just wanna say I think that you're brave and I respect your honesty. Whatever drove you to wilfully make cakes was in the past and certainly doesn't define you as a person today. I'll assume you didn't grow lots of cakes so you're alright in my book :super: no one is perfect. You live and you learn

I confess, yesterday I was just gonna make a few cakes for an experiment but since I'm an addict I can't just have one or two cakes, and a couple of hours later I suddenly woke up in the SAB not knowing how I got there... Okay maybe I need help.

On a positive note tho, yesterday I received mail from a nice soul that had sent me 2 different Pan Cyan prints. Working with Pans will help distract me from thinking about cakes all the time and I'll be cured. Piece of cake.... Hmm I just suddenly got a craving for pancakes for breakfast, haven't had pancakes in a lon... hmm.. pancakes.. pancakes.. Why does that sound familiar....? Oh no!!! Pan-Cakes!! Why does this keep happening to me??? :uhoh:

I confess you all sound a bit elitist snubbing the cakes :laugh2:  They are beautiful to watch grow.  Be proud cakesters!

Meteah, I’m just going to ask without looking it up, but didn’t you have a tech for doing cakes? A fruiting chamber method? And could you send some pancakes this way?

I had a jar of distilled water I pressure cooked a few months ago laying around. Figured the contents should still be sterile. Used it to LI knock up almost a dozen jars.... mean green city and bacteria.

BRO!!!

I AM the cake that I AM

The plan has been for a long time to figure out the 'Pan Cake grow' for myself first and then eventually to make it accessible to the common noub as well. In the old Testament I set out to solve the climate issue puzzle described as 'bruising substrates' constituting BRF cakes inside a SGFC and the result was the Water Tub/Humidity Chamber. I haven't seen a scintilla of the color blue since increasing humidity levels. Enter the age of Aquarius!
:greatjob:

I tried growing Pans since 2016, that's how long I've had the 'Pan Cyan Goliath' spore vial and was never even able to germinate. But through grace and divine intervention the creator of this thread miraculously somehow managed to send me a couple of prints after 4 failed Pan sendings in the last onths alone that were all intercepted. So shout out for Pudu and Jcm for trying to bless me with the Pan magic even tho the Cabrona contamination protocols stopped everything that was mailed to me. But in the end everything worked out. I got Pan spores on 3 different agar recipes since yesterday and I have substrates for germination as well if there's need for that. So for the first time in history I will be growing Pans and I'm looking forward to solving this puzzle as well. So yes, to answer your question pancakes are on me next time I'm in town :bongload:

I confess some of my fruits have traveled pretty far and it always makes me happy when I hear somebody say what a great time they had with them. A while back I had so many dried mushrooms it was becoming an issue so I gave a bunch to a friend on the condition he pass some along if it came up and tell that person to do the same. Now I’m hearing about his friends friends friend who had some for their first trip and loved it.

Makes me wonder where the shrooms I used to get came from. I always assumed it was some big operation mass producing them but I’m starting to think it was more likely somebody like me and so many other people on here.

I confess that last night I made some tea with 20g fresh and had a not so fun time. Was very mild visuals and extreme body load. Spent most of the trip puking and having trouble breathing. This is the first trip thats ever gone south on me and for that reason I wasn't real sure how to pull myself out of it.

On a happy note, I'm starting some new projects tonight and excited to get back to the SAB.

I can’t eat or drink alcohol even with a belly of just tea or it’s instant draino for me. The gurgles so bad, usually a good puke fixes it. I’d enjoy mushrooms so much more if it wasn’t for that. I like food too much

Yeah I dunno what the hell went wrong. I guess I qas expecting more visuals and less body high. The body high was intense and I think that's what made me sick. I get car sick easy. I was doing okay until my breathing got weird.

I've got some underlying heart problems. Last week I tested positive On an ANA test and the doc said it's suggestive of Lupus which would explain the health problems I've had the last couple of years. I havent been to worried about any of it or so I thought. Guess the worry was hiding in my self conscious cause I started thinking about that shit and thats when things really started going down hill. Went outside to puke. Realized there was spiders all over everything (yes they were real lol) and came back inside to puke. As I'm puking I saw there was a big ass wolf spider crawling around by the toilet. Got my work boot to kill it and missed. Mfer was running around super fast and I'm trying to smash it half puke and thinking about death 🤣

Wasn't fun times.

I confess I spend way too much time editing and formating my posts. I really enjoy it.
I even go back later, like who's gonna see that anyway?

But lately, I hope it's not too obvious, but by the time I've revisted
my post wordsmithing it, I've pretty much answered my question!  :facepalm3:

Damn man, I hate puking while tripping. That's part of the reason why I wanted to get into other species, more potency = less shroomy matter for my body to breakdown.

I hate seeing weird shit when I'm tripping too, because it's like I know that it's real, but it just doesn't make sense. Like one time I saw a bird, like a sparrow or whatever, but it was like 1 in the morning. I was sitting there smoking a cig and looked at him and told him that I thought it was very strange for a bird to be doing bird things at night and I suggested he go back to sleep.

Rusty whyte was the first tea I had in 20 years. Was like 25g wet, I soaked it in lemon juice, made a tea and then ate a bunch of it. Hit me hard as fuck, visuals all over the place and super euphoric.

Im excited to work with RW. This B+ grow was just more of a "Can I actually do this" type of thing. Now that I have a better understanding of what I need to do and I've learned where I'm lacking, I belive my next following grows are going to be much better.

I'm in my early thirties. I got started on this stuff when I was in my mid-twenties. I did one run of cakes and then bought my AA 921.

I confess I still have my shotgun fruiting chamber and it is in my garage full of dust and spiders after only using it once. I've moved like three times since using it and still haven't tossed it out yet.

A friend of mine showed me the ropes back before agar work was so widespread. He was doing all kinds of decent work just shooting spores to grain. Now we laugh at the very notion of using spores on anything but agar.

Shit I just turned 35. Time sneaks up on you man I still think I’m like 20.

I really wish cult was this advanced in the early 2000s when I looked into it, or that I had just got into it and figured it out myself. I was super serious and fearless about psychedelics back then, ohhh the trips I would’ve taken! :awesomenod:

The whole deal where they only came around a few times a year made it way more special though. I was from a pretty small suburban city, I just know there was a house full of pf cakes somewhere nearby lol.
