I confess I didn't have my accounts ready to buy CMPS stock and I missed the whole first day. Could've doubled my money already.

I confess that I cant get oats to not burst. Ive tried Bod's methods and eats no boil method and they still burst after the PC cycle. Maybe 90 minutes is too long at 17psi. Eat suggests 90 min at 15 psi but I didnt really think there would be much difference in results. I also confess that I pc'd some oat jars last night and forgot to put aluminum foil over the jars. Poly was soaking wet. Dumped em all out and will try again in a few hours.

I doubt it, as there's not a drastic temperature difference between 15 and 17 psi.
I tried oats for a while. I finally got them working well but I've never been a huge fan of them

Try no-soak just dump them in rapidly boiling water and continue to boil for 10 minutes covered. Dry thoroughly then PC. Works well for me.

ditto. I usually have some jars that i chose not to expand sitting around. I can see some now that need to be emptied.

I'm giving it a go right now. Hopefully it turns out better. I confess that I've been thinking you need to use a huge wedge to take to grain and I probably could have nocced up grain jars weeks ago. 🤦♂️

I confess I’m still glad that they are doing the research...
Due to the crazy laws they have to play these silly games.
One of the first serious studies was on terminally ill cancer patients ... Because hey if psilocybin makes them go crazy or jump off a bridge they were goners any way!
Here the subtext is psilocybin is such a radical potentially dangerous treatment you should only do it as a last resort ...
Pssst .... psilocybin is waaaaaay less toxic than a can of Budweiser or that cigarette you’re puffing to self medicate.
-------------------- What are they saying? Listen carefully, it might be something you need to hear...

I confess, Im not very optimistic about psilo research bc the way it's gonna go is with synthetic psilocybin only. Which means a couple of things like once this treatment is legalized big pharma is likely to organize a crackdown on natural psilocybin (mushrooms) to protect their patents. Mushrooms will be declared superdangerous in all likeliness and also, the other active components if mushrooms are left out of the equasion.
I sincerely hope I am dead wrong here but..

Still the progress is way faster than weed and much more broad in some places. Like in California where they started decriminalizing all natural psychedelics. I think it’ll probably end up in a similar place as recreational weed is now. I really don’t see mushrooms/psychedelics being anywhere near as big of a cash cow as weed so it’ll prob be less of a big deal.
Oregon is voting soon on whether or not to legalize person amounts of all drugs. Fucking finally that’s getting at least some tiny amount of traction somewhere. If they really wanted to “end the war on drugs” to help people and damage foreign cartels that’s the obvious answer. But I think there’s way too much money and we’re too dependent on prison labor to actually go back to how it used to be where prison was for murderers rapists and armed robbers instead of poor people and addicts.
Anyways I confess since summer hit I’ve been in a funk. A couple years back my whole life imploded and I got seriously depressed but didn’t realize it for a long time because I didn’t feel sad or whatever. Just stopped caring or doing shit and just spent all day stoned out in bed watching movies with my dogs. Cult was really the first thing to get me motivated for an extended period of time since then and since I shut almost everything down for summer I feel like I lost the momentum.
One of these days soon I’m finally going to clean out all my tubs jars and growroom, fix my burner so I can get the pc going again so I’m ready for the few weeks of perfect cult weather coming up in November.

I share those fears. Any legalization will be done solely to benefit big business. Don’t expect there to be a place at the table for those of us who have skirted the law and done what’s morally right. We will be lucky to not be hunted down like dogs.

which also means that we might miss out on certain benefits since it's (again) an isolated active ingredient vs. a whole food approach. anyone remembers Contergan?

Hang in there A.k.a. This funk shall pass.
Legalization will be interesting to say the least, as far as its played out. I'm kinda with PW, they will want to shut the real pioneers down so others can cash in on the Benefits.

I confess that that tonight I was stoked to advance from agar to grain. I had a nice puck that I went to put in a grain jar and it fell off the scalpel and landed face down on a wet towel. 🤦♂️ So disappointing... I put in the jar anyway but I guarantee there is no way that its not gonna contam. Oh well. I should have another nice puck ready in about a week and a half.
