Respectfully, I think I'll just keep doing what I'm doing for water content and concentrate on bottom watering earlier. My surface gets too wet if I use more than 2.5 quarts of water from the get-go.

It is a bit on the dry side IMO. But I couldn’t even properly hydrate a 650 gram coir brick with that little water. Maybe the bricks you’re using are different. Coir can vary a lot IME.

I confess... i may have let this bag sit a lil too long.

It seemed slightly bacterial and i confess to repeatedly saying to myself "you should do something with that bag"...
But, here we are...

You can't really see all the beads after I reduced the image.
I'm not debating results you guys are getting with more water it just doesn't seem possible IME. Ive had bricks where I have to add more h20 but not much. I'm all for getting more water in there if I can.

I confess I just renewed my lease and probably 40% of the decision making revolved around mush cult. My current place is by far the best I could find for mush cult.
I also confess that I have a year old bag of verm that's been sitting in the garage for the last 9 months and I'm really not sure if it would be fine to use or not. But I also dont wanna drop another $20 on a new bag

Its fine so long as it didn't get wet. When I moved I had coir and verm that sat in opened bags for 8 or 9 months in my garage as well. It worked fine for me.

I must confess the first time I consumed the mush was when I was 13 and I took a 3.5. To this day out of the 40-50 times i've taken them i've still never taken more than a 3.5. That and i'm always the trip sitter for everyone when tripping with friends.
Now that I have created my own supply I want to take a 7g dose when I go on vacation next week with just my girlfriend but i'm worried.
I feel like I'm going to bury myself in the sand all night and become a sand god, or wander off into the great beyond never to return to this mortal coil.

You'll be fine. The peak only lasts so long.. I bet you won't go back to 3.5 after trying this. Just be safe in terms of set & setting, as always. If you're not the type to do crazy stuff in your normal life I don't see any reason why you eould start doing so while tripping.

I haven’t had a huge dose since I got into cult but back in the day when I was buying them one thing I noticed was weed can really set you off on bigger doses. Anything around or over 5g id be fine but if I took a bong rip I’d be liable to change dimensions. 2-4g doses and weed just made it kinda deeper but I’ve gone from functioning normally to OBE from a big hit on 6g.
