Right, and for some reason the appearance of it, on top of old and out of date threads being the first search results on the Google machine I thought this site was dead. Then I realized I could actually, ya know, look around the site. For some reason with this hobby I had this paranoia about spending too much time on here, so I just popped into a thread, read what I needed then bounced. Signed up and here we are

I confess, im only on here right now to distract myself.
Ive been feeling down most of the day because my best friend has been ghosting me for seemingly no reason.
I read my ratings and now i feel much better.

I confess that I found a beautiful shroom that I regret not cloning, the tile in the picture is 1 square foot

The cancer has spread to my dads brain so I don't think it will be much longer, it's breaking my heart. I hate Texas and Louisiana were just hit with a cat4 hurricane but I'm thankful for the rain so I could hunt and clear my head some. Folks probably thought I was either crazy or hard up for mushrooms seeing me our 8n the pouring rain. Thanks for the kind words everyone, much love to my mush family

I saw clouds and thought they looked like pan mycelium earlier this week, so I'm glad I'm not the only one that defaults differently lol

You're more optimistic a.k.a. I'd call it a natalensis puffball.
I confess I've finally fallen into a pattern of cycling my jars fast and efficiently enough to not have to wash them. Not missing that step one bit.

Speaking of clouds, I could have sworn Disney was fukin wit me, saw several characters in the sky with one being Mackey flipping a perfect bird finger.
I confess I want to start some Panaeolus from prints I've received of grass pans. from different locations to see what they look like in person but I don't want to go through all the trouble to get derailed only to lose what I started. I feel guilty when I get nice growth and then shit happens causing me to neglect everything.

I confess I still get bummed for a few minutes when I lose a jar. Even if I have 30 other healthy jars going, I get attached to each one

I used to be really bad about dumping bad jars. I’d see a tiny spot and be like shit I’ll deal with that later and set it aside. Next thing I know it’s solid mold spores and I don’t want to touch it.
I’ve got probably 20 in a pyramid in the garage thatve been there 3+ months. Occasionally I’ll get brave and dump one but the second I see a thick cloud of green pour out my skin crawls and I drop it and run off.
Keep thinking about paying these kids down the street to clean them but I don’t want to expose them to some crazy shit because I’m lazy and also couldn’t throw out a jar that costs one dollar.
