We just need to accept that its fun to kill people

As someone whos spent thousands of hours of his life shooting shit in video games but only shooting a gun IRL for a total of about three hours, I think we just need to accept that killing shit vicariously is a blast. The oldest book in the english language (sort of) is fucking brutal, a dude rips a monster's arm off and shit. I work with a guy that I've vividly murdered in my imagination dozens of times, complete with blood spurts and pleas for help.
I think the real problem is people can't just say "Welp, thats fucked up." I haven't physically harmed a human being since I was 14 (well, unless she asked me to ). And I hurt people as a kid cause I got picked on, I was just defending myself half the time.
After a while the circle of thoughts just gets boring. We have violent instincts but our brains can overcome. Can't it just be that simple?

We do have violent instincts and our brains can overcome it, our ability to do so resulted in what we call society.
Btw you're explanation of your thoughts of a coworker make you sound like a socio/psychopath (not necessarily saying you are, but that's quite in depth and vivid), unless of course he somehow tortures you and your family or causes you immense pain on a daily basis in which case I'd probably have similar thoughts. Usually I just say "fuck that guy" in my thoughts and move on.
I don't think anyone should or could comment on how fun it is to kill people just because they've pretended to do so in video games either

Not even close lol, I guess I just don't fantasize about murdering people lol
I mean I've had thoughts where I felt like I wouldn't care if someone died, but never making them plea for help and killing them in my own thoughts

I pressure cook all the time brah
-------------------- How to get started in bulk: Presto 23-Quart Pressure Cooker BOD's Simple as FUCK Still Air Box PastyWhyte's Easy Agar Tek Munchauzen's Cultivation Video Series How EvilMushroom666 Prepares His Grains (I use jars with Synthetic Filter Discs) What is G2G? (Grain-to-Grain) Damion5050's Coir Tek (I use 5.5 - 6 quarts of water instead of 4. Also ignore step 13 and ignore the monotub completely. The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary) Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful) Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

You should try it. Thoughts are free (for the moment). When your mind has already created the most horrific suffering for someone, its much easier to fake nice. Its like "Haha yea, thats funny *YOUVE DIED 1000 DEATHS*" ..."Uh, excuse me what was that?" ..."Um, nothing, I'm getting over a cold"

Now I want to make a poll, how many people have violent thoughts like this
Its not something I would act out in society, but in war or self-defense I have no moral qualm about it, following through is another story considering Ive never done such a thing

in war or self defense I'd have no moral qualm about it myself. I'm not saying I don't have violent thoughts, everyone does, just not murdering people and making them plea for help but who knows maybe doing so is normal lol
Just never met anyone who has done anything that extreme towards me to evoke that kind of emotion out of me.

I can open my totally unassisted folding knife just as fast as an auto-knife. Not saying thats an accomplishment, a literal 4 year old could do it with practice (and probably get better than me pretty quickly). But if somebody sees you practicing they get super freaked out. I keep it clipped to my pocket, I might need to pull it out and use it someday, why own a weapon you can't even use effectively? If they were free I would take knife self-defense courses as well, sometimes intimidation just isn't enough.
When you prepare for the worst its impossible not to have violent scenarios run through your brain. In some of them your knife is stuck in an assailants neck. I didn't want to stab him, but in my brain he came at me bro. And I'm quite imaginitive, so its not like Poo Bear sticking a fork into a stuffed animal.
For me the difference is when you have a big poster you printed at Kinkos of your enemy from facebook on your wall, and you've learned how to throw shurikin at it

I try to avoid violent thoughts, but sometimes you meet someone special...
I had a coworker who would bring a different pair of knucks to work every day, or a knife, once or twice a combo knuck/knife, funny guy and I wouldnt be surprised if hes used one before.
On the other hand there was this young lady who carried a knife for self defense... very bad idea, if she could even follow through with it, any mildly dangerous man could get it out of her hand in a heartbeat. It might work on some people but shes not cut out for stabbing some asshole. Better off with high quality mace and some running shoes

I was going to say, The shroomery conjures up the most intellectual discussions to ponder about...
Could of sworn this thread read "10 years ago".
No.

Truth!
I HATED this one friend of mine from college cause she weighed literally 105lbs but she was convinced a set of keys and a can-do attitude would protect her. Really she was just a young woman from the country learning how powerless she really was in this hard world. But the rest of us paid for us cause we practically had to beg to walk her home at night

The edge is so strong. I think you've just been hurt before dude, and you're in a weird emo phase. OP reminds me of that weird kid in class who always drew stick people being killed and tortured.

I'm just done feeling like the person you're trying to portray me as. And people like me should stop feeling judged as well
I approach people cautiously but kindly. A different girl that I work with whom I also hate, I never have violent thoughts about her. She had a really fucked up life and it turned her into a fucked up person. Granted, that doesn't stop me from hating her cunty guts, but I try to be patient with her and be understanding when shes being retardedly rude and accidentally a dick.
I want good things for good people. I also want death to the infidels. I refuse to believe those are contradictory ideas

Not everyone can live sheltered behind a wall, I find it funny when people like you lash out and try to reduce someone to your perception of the common denominator. Since we're sharing opinions about eachother, I think you're petty and insecure.

there is nothing wrong with violence if it's quarantined to to such an occasion as: someone tries to hurt you/kill you (this is proportional)-- then afterwards it's simply hate and will turn you.
but anger is nothing but a good thing- but needs to be controlled, otherwise it will destroy.
but that's the discretion. he need discretion.
