Along with unlimited corruption.
Evil is real and it leads to Hell.

I came to the conclusion a while ago that good and evil are definitely real. So I do believe in Satan. I don't know if the story in the Bible about Satan is true but pure evil really does exist.

When I was a child I would have this battle in my mind where I would say I believe in God and and I believe in Satan. I couldn't believe in both without fearing I was going to hell on one road and being sure I was going to heaven on the other. Then I came to my senses and realized I could believe in both and probably still go to hell.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

I was in a christian boys home that abused me mentally really bad (I've never been a religious person and had no ground beliefs at the time). Anyways, my back got fucked up while I was in there and I thought that I might die. I decided I had to choose then that if I believed in Christianity then I needed to "accept Jesus into my heart" in order to prevent myself from burning in a lake of fire for all of eternity.
I then realized that the only reason I would be getting saved was out of fear and that it wouldn't be genuine. Then I started thinking about the religion without fear and I realized that the idea of someone creating me just to have me worship them and if I refuse then they're going to send me to a place that tortures you for eternity sounds more satanic to me than anything else.

i believe there is a human being on the planet who sees himself as Satan. I saw him on my TV on an LSD trip. He was jizzing metaphorically on the planet while the words "Total Devastation" was on the screen. All this was going on in a more defined HD type mode in hyperspace that is basically non explainable. He was wearing a NASA suit
Saying he was satan may be pushing it. He called himself "The Man"
-------------------- Something there is mysteriously formed, Existing before Heaven and Earth, Silent, still, standing alone, unchanging, All-pervading, unfailing, I do not know its name; I call it tao. If forced to give it a name, I call it Great (ta). Being great, it flows out; Flowing out means far-reaching; Being far-reaching, it is said to return. It's just a shot away..

Im just saying what happened on a trip from years back. It happened. Was it a form of psychosis? Maybe. But i cant just pretend it never happened.
so talking about an experience means im "not better?"
That was also the same trip where my TV went all green and in black letters it said "The answer is..ANIMALS"

The answer is to draw power from Satan and God. You have to play them off each other, like spatting young lovers in a classic argument. I hate this thread.

Satan means adversary right? I've met more than enough of those.

was it a talking goat or donkey that said to one of those old testament dudes "hey you, stop being a dick, god says so" and the dude was like "lol shut up goat" and hit him with his stick.
I think that's pretty much it. It was an adversary that came about to tell him he fucked up but he didn't care, and that was satan.
But, satan means all sorts of things, I like Mark Passio's definition the best.
You might be a satanist and not even know it.

People in this thread reject the Christian religion becaus they judge it on the wrong terms.
Good and evil exist within all of us. God is representative of our best virtues and Satan is the embodiment of our worst. The worst in us is that which causes pain and suffering on others and on the world.
Godd, the opposite.
This duality is what the Jews recognized. It's the story of Cain and Able. Of Christ and Satan.
It's a powerful story because it is probably true.
If we are lucky, this will be an age of reconciliation for people between the cold, chaotic realm of the unknown, and the realm of the spirit.
You really shouldn't choose evil. God won't honor it.

the Bible is a bunch of different things compiled. it does not all add up.
only foolish people think it all does.
Satan is a personification of man.
man is a good thing, and God eats man's nature for breakfast.

Garden of Eden is based off of Sumerian lore.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garden_of_the_gods_(Sumerian_paradise)
which might be based on shrooms.
only that the Bible inverted it's meaning completely: instead of staying in the garden, the people are told by Enki that they are enslaved by the Annunaki, and that they are deceived to stay in the garden to mine gold, instead of being free to go out and find/grow their own gardens, and not be gold slaves.
funny.

Not really, like any other religion I can't say for sure that it's not true, but morality is clearly too subjective for me to think there's some kind of force that influences us to act one way or the other when there's no definitive direction towards what we should be or how we should act, even if some things claim to have those answers.

all life is contained therein Satan, it has but one process:
it resolves that in itself a hole separates the elements of existence into a vortex.
a ring divides the elements above a vortex, which is a hole, or well, (of gravity).
this vortex recedes as the elements become gaseous, and vapourize, and then reform again.

Satan is a personification of man.
man is a good thing, and God eats man's nature for breakfast.
Satan and Jesus are both personified in man. Satan personifies the absolute worst and Jesus, the ideal best. Going to the side of Satan will either quickly throw you to the bottom of the dominance hierarchy. Prison, death, torture, loneliness, alienation, and all associated Hellish emotions.
Jesus represents the opposite, loving, loved, justice, mercy, and the rest.
God is nature. God is chaos. God is the unknown that commands our respect and adherance.

I believe Jesus and Satan are now in the hearts of man (as in eternal)...I also believe in aliens though so I'm not quite sure how that fits into my religious beliefs other than that God is an alien and worked through Jesus in order to document proof to man (the bible).

Visionary Tools said: You might be a satanist and not even know it.
I have not watched that video, but I will say that I believe the majority of people on this planet are Satanists (humanist), they just don't realize that, they run and hide from their animalistic actions, afraid that if anyone saw them acting a certain way, it would surely mean their doom, of they feel guilty for feeling the way they sometimes feel, and imprison their mind in a state of shame for normal thoughts and behaviors.
I think for many people you have a choice in life, a choice between serving light or dark, you don't have to choose either side, but not choosing a side could not work well for you, because it essentially sets you to drift alone in a sea of humanity without a beacon to guide yourself, it's possible to navigate such tempestuous waters without the guidance of light or dark, but this require balance, and it can be hard to learn how to balance light and dark, and use both to help you without getting swallowed up by either side, the crappy thing is once you choose a side to help you through life, you tend to become influenced by that side so much so you often lose your individuality, and just become a normal pleb.
I have learned a great deal from left hand paths, just as much as I have learned from right hand paths, if Satan is real, if Jesus is real, if any gods are real, I would tell them thank you all for imparting their wisdom on my feeble human mind.

Or, maybe the stories transcend religion because they are based on moral truth.
Stories like this are always attractive because they speak about what humanity is. The idea that Judaism brought the concept of evil to the forefront. And by evil I am talking about human ability to harm each other.
