well fuck me man my jars that i tiger dropped. are taking forever to colonize, i even just took wedge transfers to agar cause one of u mentioned it would be quicker if i just cut a chunk i think it was u mushboy, but there taking forrreeeverrrr!
ill post pics tomorrow, do u think it was because my wbs looked too wet.... i mean i have been using strobes tek but i never really realized that it came out so wet all the time i guess i just thought that was how it looked...
any one have any ideas?
maybe should use different method?

ok, so after doing a lot of reading and hearing some feed back from some of the members, my jars are bacterial, needless to say i will spawning em to either a small tub or in a bag of some sort just as an experiment.
i made up a few small jars of wbs using a new tek, spitballs wbs tek. which was different for me beacause im used to boiling my wbs. Rye isnt readily available where im at so i always have used wbs. i decided to do smaller jars because i dont have a bunch of quarts jars and i want to just get clean growth going so i can just store that strain whether be liquid or not. im really aiming to get master plates going, but doing that im shooting for clones only.in order to do that ive slowly gotten more and more involved in agar work, ive made about 40-50 plates of about 5 different cube variety's.

I had a GT plate of a clone i took off my last tub

so i threw it on 2 new plates and 1 wbs jar i changed my setup and decided to work in my spare closet, i set it up and watched Munchauzen's videos https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/21032261#21032261
and came up with this

behind me was this

i showered and preformed the most comfortable and most enjoyable procedure i have done to date. the GT plate was my favorite, i had finally nailed the perfect transfers. no more dragging and having a hard time getting the wedge off the scalpel, maybe it was all my failures and practice was finally setting in but ill tell u what, it was peaceful!

ok so after more reading ive decided to put all my plates and jars out on a shelf so they can receive ambient light. i went over everything i could think of followed the proper sterile procedures, started with clone wedges instead of prints or syringes. dialed in my wbs so its not too wet and dropped a wedge in a nice jar of wbs

in addition to that i decided to take my 2 bacterial quarts and spawned em to https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/23981421
before

after

i decided to case and let time run its course
