Too many Psilocybes!
    #23941839 - 12/19/16 09:53 PM (7 years, 1 month ago)

So i've run myself into a tight decision.
I have alot.. alot of Cyans, Alleniis, even a few Azures and Stunzii's.
In the dried lots range.

I am not a drug dealer, hell, i dont even want to eat them.
I am not a criminal. Just a mushroom collecter.
I've come to a point where.. i do not know why i am harvesting mushrooms.

It feels good though spreading Myc to new places knowing their range is growing bigger.

But i do not know what to do!
I am paranoid one day, having this many Psilocybes, someway, somehow, the wrong person will find out, and a judge will throw the book at me.

I dont want to toss them, i do not know anyone responsible enough to take such a large gift, nor do i have any trustworthy straight edge friends who would sit on them for me.

I truthfully dont even know why im making this post, i dont see a solution, but this is my problem.

Idk wtf to do with my mushrooms.

Perhaps you could gift them to other unsuccessful hunters in your area? Spread the love.

Make a big looney tunes style firework/rocket and shoot them into the night sky on New Years to rain down across the land. It'll totally work. Or give great x mas gifts this year.

I agree it's fun. I'm in SoCal, so it's real hunting down here.
On a secondary note you have a reason to be outdoors, it's healthy, the species you have are more photogenic than average and outside is beautiful. The risk is also driving and adds to the intrigue and fun. Let's face it you ain't stopping anytime soon, right?

Very true
The outdoors is great and i love taking photos.
I just had a run in with an officer the other night.
I only got off because i didnt say "Psilocybe" and that these are choice edibles.
I went all mushroom nerd on him syaing big words and cool times and finds in the forrest and urban enviroments.
Let me off after some conversation/
I told myself i would stop gathering mushrooms until its Spring-time Ovoid season.

But i just came back home from basketball with a haul of Alleniis and two handfuls of Cyans... so.. guess im not stopping.

I want to stop, but its an obsession. Or an addiction.

Give them to your friends.  The problem is that many folks don't know too much about them and aren't keen on taking them.

The thrill of the hunt can be very powerful.  I get a real rush from finding them.  I found the same rush from hunting edibles.  A couple of weeks ago I found Chantrelles and it was a very rewarding hunt - and my dinner!

My friends arent too responsible and i fear whose hands they might end up in, or someone wigging the fuck out.

There was this kid.
My girfriends best friend, wanted mushrooms to trip with her crush.
So she got the Cyans, and did em with her friends.

2 weeks later we hear the dude lost his mind and still hasnt come back. Couldnt remember his name for a week.
It all started after he did cocaine while tripping i guess.
Hes all fuckered up.
Beleives hes being spied on and shit.

So im not really into the whole scene.

I give em to strangers fairly often though. The old ladys like them lol.

The hunt is great.
I have been meaning to familiarize myself with the choice edibles of California but have yet to do so.
I know i pass alot of them up.

Gravity, what are your favorite edibles to collect?

yeah, i've been there before. it's one of the hardest things to try and profit off of and the thought of someone freaking out and giving people your name is horrible.

you will also be known as the "mushroom guy" because people talk and like to feel important.

hunting is fun and the fruits would go to waste any way so you might as well get them while they are around. you can always find a use for them.

i have year old cyans that still pack a punch so i wouldn't worry so much about potency loss, just jar them with some silica packets.

A couple of weeks ago, I found my first Chantrelles. They are hard to spot but it was fun finding something that was fairly difficult.

Honey mushrooms are fairly tasty and pretty easy to find big bunches of them.  Shaggy parasols were quite good and tasty.  Found my first ones on a mushroom hunt with Alan Rockerfeller in Golden Gate Park.  Also found my first blewits on that hike.

I have yet to find oysters but keep my eyes open for them.  Would love to find some lions mane.  Also been interested in morels but have yet to find any.

Overall, there seems to be quite a few good ones in the Bay Area.

i would gift them to those suffering debilitating medical conditions.    migrains , end of life etc.Selling is out for so many reasons.rent some storage and get them outta you living space so you can sleep ( besides the rippoff potential.I could use some to microdose but sadly there is a border btween us!
