Treasure coast cubensis (HARVEST TIME)
    #23941510 - 12/19/16 07:52 PM (7 years, 1 month ago)

I recently inoculated 7 WBS jars with Treasure Coast on 12/16. Ill update with pics when they germinate. I soaked the wbs with 6 cups of coffee and 1tbsp of gypsum for 24 hours after cleaning the grains. Theyll be colonizing around 70F. Ill be spawning these jars to 1 brick of coir, 2.5 qts. of vermiculite, 1/4 cup of gypsum, and 4 quarts of water. Ill use the extra substrate to apply a thin casing layer at 100% colonization. Will update with pictures in the next 5 days. Stay tuned everyone

Archaic revival was definetly a good read. I really like the invisible landscape also. Food of the gods makes so much sense. Makes you question societys ideas of human evolution.

Haha good one, 1 of the 7 jars have germinated on day 6. This strain seems to be on the slower side but it always produces nice flushes. Hopefully the rest will germinate tonight or tomorow. Also im thinking about just using Rye Berries from now on. WBS is such a pain to work with and clean. My next cubensis grow will be with rye berries. Ive never done a cubensis grow with rye so im looking forward to the results.

When these jars are 100% im going to soak the grains in cold water for 15 to 30 min then spawn to CVG pasteurized using the bucket tek. Ill use leftover substrate to apply a thin casing layer also. stay tuned....

Almost all the jars are showing 1st signs of mycelium so now we just gotta wait a few weeks for spawning  ill take pics when the mycelium gets bigger, theyre just little pea size spots now. This cubensis veriety is slower than Albino AA+ which only took 6 days for all of them to germinate. Theres still 2 TC jars with no germination and my room temp/grain recipe that was used is the same for both. I grew TC on brf cakes in the past and wow did they have nice flushes. The 1st pic in my sig. Is those cakes.

Hey everyone, i havent really been feeling like posting anything, a lot going on. But the jars are almost done colonizing. Ill be spawning the wbs to 1 brick of coir, 2 quarts of verm, 1/4 cup of gypsum and 4 qts water. Im just using the bucket to "pasturize". Ill post pictures in a few days. Also ill be soaking the colonized grainsfor 15 or 20 min before spawning.

Last night i soaked my WBS spawn for 15 min before spawning it to my coir, vermiculite, gypsum substrate. Its in a 72 qt. Monotub with 2 holes on each long side above the substrate and 1 hole on the short sides below the lid.

Its already recovering and producing heat in only 8 hours
