Is my first harvest good to go?

A few of the fruit bodies were ready to be harvested to my knowledge, and the "mutant blobs" halted in growth, so I picked them, and sliced them for the drying process. This is my first experience with growing. My question to the brain trust is: Do any of these look questionable? Can any of these mushrooms be harmful if eaten? The strain is PE. Thank you!

All looks fine, and you're weird for cutting them all up. Poor mushrooms.
They can be harmful, to your ego, if eaten.

just looks like bruising to me, blue/green is normal after piking, especially if youve sliced them as you stated. test it with a q-tip (with peroxide 3%) , if it fizzes once swabbed then id inspect it, but that there looks like normal bruising from excessive handeling. pe for a first time grow, nice! i assume your fan drying/decciant get a deyhydrater, you wont lose as much potency loss due to bruising from your handeling methods and time to dry is far quicker, you lose pilosiben/piliscin properties the longer they take to dry.
to my believe if your sub produced fruits your good to go ive eaten fruits off contamed subs, granted they never produced much yield wise.

I'm fan drying and using a drying kit from MidwestGrowKits. The online directions advised slicing them, I'd imagine to help by adding surface area. I used their substrate jars as well, ( http://www.midwestgrowkits.com/substrate-jars.html ) I wasn't sure which strain to use for the first time. I have some golden teacher and chitwan spores on standby.

yeah i deff see where your comming from, slicing them will dry em quicker, but deff wouldent recomend it. i lost a oz from not drying properley, youll know as it will turn black, and have a voul smell. make sure there "cracker dry" the stem should snap if bent like a cracker. hmm if i where you, id cut those mushies into pieces, and make tea. fan drying has never dried them 100% for me. i guess place in newspaper to suck up humidity and fan dry as much as you can. not saying fan drying wont work, just that i lost a oz at least to that "method" i feel that method is so 1970... good luck.
if you do teak bring water to boil, let cool for a couple minutes then dunk your mushies in a coffie filler/tea bag set up. its very very easy to fuk up tea potency to high temperature. but as said search that shit up on the shroomery cultivation forum, its been threaded over n over.

theres really no need to slice them really so you can see the beauty of your grow. A good fan dry is efficient and i always follow up using a damp rig
