Not sure if it's possible... big tobacco is heavily regulated as to how and where it can advertise and sell its products, and the e cig industry is just starting to undergo massive government regulation changes. They changed a shitload of laws about how it can be sold in California recently. Seems like a really unwise move to invest all your money into an edgy e-cig business when the legality of how its sold could easily change within a year or two.

Man, that's crazy. How the hell do those guys stay in business... I can understand $1 for a 7-11 hot dog, but from a cart in NYC, I'd expect to pay $3 or $4 without batting an eye.
Even the hot dog stands in Philly charge $4 for a dog, at least they give you a decent bratwurst sausage but still. I assumed NYC would be more expensive in that aspect.
Even Costco hot dogs are $1.50 and I consider that a good deal.

Well it's apparently a lot cheaper for wholesale hot dogs and buns than you think. You should get to the bottom of this and call up some hot dog suppliers in NYC and see how much their wholesale prices are. I would start by pricing Sabrett dogs.
Hot dogs are trash though and mostly organs, so I can see them being stupid cheap wholesale. What I want to know is how all these mexicans can sell carne asada tacos busting with steak meat for $1.50 a piece or cheaper. They sell the tripe and lengua tacos for the same price though, so maybe they offset the beef prices like that. Who knows.

It's odd, because whenever I've bought tripe or offal from the market, it's never any cheaper than actual beef or steak meat. Sometimes even the organs cost $4-$6 per lb, and you'd think it'd be a lot cheaper really.

not if you buy it in bulk, typically grocery stores have to special order it which is why it is expensive
if you buy constantly, like if you were a professional chef its cheaper because you buy it a lot
