Will a Hygrometer work under vacuum pressure?

Here is the dilemma. I have ALOT of fruit bodies. More than i want in my house, or anywhere. So, i have 6 vacuum space saver bags. Eventually 2 bags will be buried. I will slip on the two more bags per bag then duct tape and tarp and bury.
Until then, i will have a hygrometer in each bag, along with desiccant i made. If i can get the moisture level to 0 for 14 days, that is when i will bury it.
The big concern here is, will a hygrometer work... in vacuum with little to no air...?

I think they work by measuring the moisture in the air itself, so in a vacuum, it will not work at all. Find a cheap dehydrator, I see them a lot for between $5 and $20 at thrift stores and online.

Honestly measuring the humidity is unecessary. Cracker dry is cracker dry

Not true. Storage failure is a thing.

fuck.. i always do it for 12 hours.
24 hours huh? Thanks buddy. I'll give this a go soon as both the dehydrators are done wth their current loads. This is going to be a process.
