if a guy from ups delivers 17 boxes an hour that's 170 dollars he takes 3.5 of that for his pay check
where does the other 13.5 boxes go? is he not entitled to 20% of the check he does the delivery after all
Are You saying UPS drivers make 35/hr?

yes but I'm also saying that the other people deal with 1000's of boxes, so 3 or 4 boxes an hour isn't terrible

interesting, the amazon fulfillment center that's opening near me is starting people from $12 to $15/hr in the warehouse and at $19/hr for some other positions

have you ever run a large company? have you ever worked as a project manager or cost analyst?

so he makes pretty good money, well into the middle class tax bracket

well, it goes to pay for the maintenance on planes, trucks, advertising, non value added staff such as the service technicians and other support groups, it pays the holiday and incentive pay for employees and it even goes to pay people to stand around when there is nothing to do in those rare instances. that other 13.5 boxes goes to pay for a lot more than you can imagine, your simplistic look at it probably has you believing there is only a driver and a CEO and all the money over the delivery driver's pay ends up in the pocket of the CEO
