Some baking seed Poppies. Are they Papaver somniferum?
These ones were hairy.

And these where smooth.

If you were in Europe I'd say the first one is the common field poppy, Papaver rhoeas.

I have an old and tattered G. quehlianum. It's a species that means a lot to me, it was one of the first cacti I bought many many moons ago. Never got to make it grow properly and eventually lost that plant, but the excitement that I got from trying to make it thrive in times when the Internet wasn't even a dream and books were few and far between stayed with me to this day.

Yeah phalaenopsis. My mother gave it to me because it was not growing and it's been two years now that i'm getting flowers every winter. They open during spring.
