PF Albino Revival Project

F3***Note: I gave up on this project about a year ago because I couldn't for the life of me get the F3 mycelium to fully colonize a jar of grain...
I just want to share anyway because I thought it was neat that I successfully crossed two varieties without an isolate or by using snake venom and I feel like this could be useful information or at the very least spark some interesting discussion... not doing much good hidden in my journal.***
IntroductionI've always been fascinated by the PF Albino strain. Unfortunately after some research I found that PF Albino strain has been lost over the years.
It's genetics still live on in the Albino Penis Envy which I plan on reviving.
I'm going to try and bring back the PF Albino!
ProcedureCross APE mycelium with PF ClassicPFC is rumord to be the strain that originally birthed the PF Albino. It only makes sense to me that I would choose this strain to attempt a cross with.
My intentions are to create an albino cube with regular cube aethstetics. (No Penis Envy traits)
I inoculated a single quart jar of wheat kernels with both 1 plate of PF Classic MS and 1 plate of Albino Penis Envy MS.
Both multispore!!.
Once fully colonized I expanded the master jar into 3 half full qt jars.
Once fully colonized I spawned to coir/verm in a 27qt mini.
The idea behind this method was to allow the mycelium from the two varieties to mingle with each other in the master jar first. Then expand together in the receiving jars.
F1
I got regular looking cubes but I took a print and germinated on agar anyway.
The characteristics of the myc on agar were very similar to APE in that it was very thick with a larger than average clear leading edge.
I have never seen any other variety grow this way so I knew I was in for
something
F2
Once again normal looking fruits. I just took a print from a random fruit which produced APE-like myc once again.
Unfortunately F1 and F2 were not documented very well as I had very low expectations of this working until the results of F3F3

Spawned to 66qt mono the spawn took longer than average to colonize. Fruited at spawn and almost 4 weeks later was suprised to find my first albino fruits. These are exactly what I'm looking for but definitely need some stabilization as there are a few regular looking fruits in this tub as well. But mostly albinos.
Very suprised to find mostly albino fruits in this tub I must say.
The spores are black but I suspect there to be some albino spores mixed in as well. Hopefully future generations will have more albino spores to offer.
Evidence of successful cross1. The mycelium Which carried the same characteristics as APE even though I had germinated the spores from a "regular" cube
This was apparent in both F1 and F2 but I'm hoping to eventually phase it out over time
2. Fruiting timeIt took almost 2 weeks longer than average for any signs of primordia to form.
F1 and F2 performed like average cubes
3. The colourOr lack there of. As you can see these are a very brilliant white. Even more white than the leucistic AA+ variety although technically these would be considered leucistic as well for now. There are still a few stragglers that have brown caps and one fruit with a brown swirl on the cap. But for the most part they are all white which came as a suprise and I'm very excited about it.

A shot of the mycelium on agar one transfer from spores.
Happy to see it still has the same characteristics as F1 and F2
