Hair in food doesn't gross me out 3

Every once in a while I get food from somewhere and there's a hair in it. I take the hair out and enjoy my meal without a second thought.
That being said, it seems to be a reasonably common occurance where people get grossed out in this situation. I can't imagine getting grossed out over it unless there was like a hairball in the food, a single hair ain't shit.
What is your opinion on hair in food? Do you return it to the restaurant or just take it out and eat the food?

I'm pretty used to eating dog fur and cat fur and 2 ft long strands of my own hair. Still don't particularly like it when I get some random hair in restaurant food.
It doesn't completely disgust me. I just don't like it.

It doesn't necessarily gross me out, but I still request a new plate if I see it in my dish at a restaurant.

Well it depends. If the hair is in moist food like in soup or mashed potatoes or something, then I return it. There were a couple times I just picked the hair off and ate it though, and that was usually when it was on something dry like a piece of bread.

There's no type of sexual thrill achieved by such an activity such as pulling the hairs off and eating the food anyway is there?

It grosses me out, but your reaction seems more sensible. It isn't a big deal really.
A lot of behaviour is learnt, like my irrational fear of spiders. I'm working on getting over that though because spiders are awesome.

it's not the hair itself that's gross, it's the implication of the unhygenic conditions the food was prepared in.
of course you wouldn't realise that because you have the intellect of a GNAT.

Exactly I'm not eating some greasy sweaty disgusting cooks hair food. What does that even mean sometimes you you get food from a place and theres hair in it? What kind of place is this? How many times have you eaten at this hair restaurant?

If I worked in a restaurant, I would carefully place one ass hair in every meal.

Depends for me, if I'm already sick I kind of get grossed out and can't eat it, 99% of the time I just pick it out and don't care though. There was twice where I found at least 3 almost as soon as I opened it and the one specifically I dug through and found more (like wtf were you getting a haircut while making my food? how's that even happen) and those times I just got a refund and went somewhere else.

It doesn't necessarily mean a place is dirty because a hair fell into the food

I ate at a McDonald's one that had cockroaches mice and mildew. I don't think I've ever been at another place where I was genuinely afraid to eat.
