Degreaser to kill Trich!

One of my tubs went south, with trich, so I decided to experiment and hit the patch with some Degreaser. The reaction of my white trich spot was instantly, it went from white to green and then totally disappeared. Lets see if it comes back; or pops up somewhere else.
Degreaser has been commonly used to kill molds and fungus, but I have not read any post on this forum about using Degreaser to combat trich.
I know Degreaser is not good for the mycellium, so i sprayed it very carefully on the infected area, and a little bit past the edges.
Has anybody on here ever used Degreaser against Trich?

I severely doubt one can kill trichoderma without killing the rest of the substrate, considering anything you see on the surface is just a tiny aspect of the colony underneath. You probably had penicillium or aspergillus, which can not only be colonized by mycelium, it also can just be on the surface.

Mushrooms are fungus.
Theres only one cure to contamination, and thats disposal.

Trich feeds and interwines in myc of cube or other white molds. Can't just kill the one. Fire burns spores as a good disposal method.

If you see trich its already too late. You can limp through a first flush but other than that scrap it.

If you do deside to limb through a flush a salt paste over it limts the spores. I swear nothing is harder then trying to stop trich spores spreading and germination in one tub to the next 25,

Does anyone have that illustration on what trich does and how it intertwines with myc? I seen it somewhere the other day. Could they post it here? It's pretty straight forward.

Update:
Trich never regrew in the spot I blasted with Degreaser and my pins matured normally and were picked this mornin
However, after arriving home tonight, the trich popped up at a different location, but no signs of any trich, mold or life were degreaser still sits.
Obviously my spawn/ substrate in this one tub got contaminated somewhere is the process. Anywho, Degreaser seems like a good alternative to buy some time.
I used the regular autopart store Degreaser. I believe Organic Degreaser is sold as well, which should be the safer alternative.
