can someone tell me if this is cobweb??!!
this is my first time growing, i got a grow kit online (i know... i wont do it again) i noticed the first mushrooms come up around the sides and there has been this white fluffy stuff growing in the corner for a week or so, which i thought was mycelium...
but then i panicked and considered the possibility of it being cobweb... after researching i discovered that the main cause of cobweb is lack FAE, which then convinced me that this was cobweb since i go away at weekends and i'm not able to open the bag and let fresh air for several days.
i found that spraying 3% hydrogen peroxide solution on the cobweb and letting it air for a while may be able to fix the problem... so this is what i did, although i was specifically told not to spray the substrate itself, only the sides of the bags. i could hear something fizzing and the white stuff kind of disintegrated, which was a reassuring sign that i was spraying cobweb (and not mycelium)
i then became quite scared at the possibility that i had just sprayed healthy mycelium, since i was not able to make a confident decision on what this stuff was.. after some more research i saw someone said that cobweb would take over the substrate in a matter of days and mycelium will not... which made me think that this was mycelium since it had been growing slowly over the course of a week or more...
i will post pictures before and after spraying
BEFORE

AFTER

now i need to know: 1) what is this ??? 2) if this is mycelium, have i just ruined it by spraying it with H202 and leaving the bag open ?? 3) if this is cobweb, am i doing the correct thing ? 4) if i leave for the weekend, would it be better to leave the kit in a home made FC with holes to allow for FAE ?
THANK YOU !!!! =]

Wrong forum
Looks alright though, just keep the surface a little moiste but not soaking. Open that bag up as much as you can, if you can't, cut some slits in it for some more FEA. Those kits suck but can give you mushrooms.
Look into building a shot gun fruiting chamber to fruit that kit in. Or you could keep it in the bag, but it needs fresh air, frequently.

It is not and probably never will be cobweb
-------------------- How to get started in bulk: Presto 23-Quart Pressure Cooker BOD's Simple as FUCK Still Air Box PastyWhyte's Easy Agar Tek Munchauzen's Cultivation Video Series How EvilMushroom666 Prepares His Grains (I use jars with Synthetic Filter Discs) What is G2G? (Grain-to-Grain) Damion5050's Coir Tek (I use 5.5 - 6 quarts of water instead of 4. Also ignore step 13 and ignore the monotub completely. The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary) Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful) Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.
