Bad horse poo?

Found a source for old horse bedding and poo. No urine smell at all, however there looks to be white either bacteria or mycellum growth from a current inhabitant. Then I was told there was an outdoor pile "that's basically been reduced to dirt". There hasn't been a horse on this property for 10+ years, the old hay and bedding has been sitting dry and the "reduced to dirt" is in middle of open field.
I'll be home and have a few pictures up in a little while. Thanks
But is there a such thing as bad horse poo?

I say give it a shot, might work wonders for you.
Ive never used poo that old tho, most of the time the cow patties i pick up are just a couple of years old.
How long does it take for poo to be depleted?

10 years is way too long IMO. Try a few months-a couple years max. I'd look for another source.

Thanks for the replies! I have some composted cow manure I got from the garden center, this any good? I also have a bag of worm castings, should I just stick to a straw mix with those manuer's? Also any thoughts on the old saw dust bedding mix that was stored next to hay?
I'm doing my best to free source as much as possible. Most of the funds got dumped into an eco habitat thats been waiting to be picked up by ups for a week. In my youthfulness I dumped rest of funds into supplies to fabricate a few shotguns, a mini fridge incubator, and enough jars and fixin's to make injection/filter lids for spawn. I had ordered about 12 strains and there still 2 weeks out so I grabbed rest of a z strain print I had done my first two grows off of and jumped back in. I'm being impatient and am doing best to make work whit what I have. Thanks guys
