Very cool, I am also growing cyanescens and allenii outdoors here in California. Did you go straight to woodchips? I'm finding it colonized rye grain quickly.

Thanks Man. I can imagine how they look's in natural habitant. But growing it is also good fun
Yes it colonized rye grain quickly as You wrote.
@ I used a spore syringe, then inoculate jars with oak dirbs, and a litle bit of rye, tablespoon, maybe little more. Next only wood. It's made a job. Of Course for spawn, next to fresh three derbs. Rye made a good jobe for start but I think spoils dirbs in longer period of thime Some day I will run only experiment with oak derbs.
I know, I need practice with rye preparation. I red almost all teks. But I need feel it, like coocking risotto heh Greetings P

Nice! what kind of trees are present around the patch? what kind of wood are those sticks that the mycelium spread to? what other leaves & litter are around? looks like it has a preference...

that is really kool. Looks amazing!
Do you have some on agar? you can make a buttload of colonized chips indoors.
and watch out for the pine trees/needles. the sap and rain runoff can cause the ground to become very acidic.
you can probably put a sample from those sticks to agar and get a clean culture pretty fast. looks healthy!
