I don't think so; maybe I just have better relations with my roomates than you.

I had a group of friends that lived with ~ 7 - 8 people at any given time in the same house. Big house. They had one guy living with them who would always ask for bites from everyone's food (they barely ever cooked, mostly got food from restaurants and stuff). They had a white board that they would put a tally on every time he asked. They didn't label the board, and everyone in the house knew what the tallies were for but him. Was pretty funny thinking back on it. The board had hundreds of tallies racked up over 6 or 7 months.

Smoking rule seems good, as does do your own dishes...RIGHT AFTER EATING, and don't piss of the neighbors. I agree with not sharing food as well. Throw down on a gourmet meal for two if you both decide to do so on a certain night and split the cost of that.
I would add: no gherkin jerking in the shower, and have a chore list.
For example, Monday-clean bathroom Tuesday- outside (lawn, leaves, etc.) Wednesday - Kitchen Thursday - dusting & floors Friday - Party Saturday - Party Sunday - Clean up after partying and empty all trash cans

I would hope so not wishing that drama on anyone
There have been a few people who were reasonable, and Ive lived off the generosity of family and friends which I appreciate One of my greatest desires is to return that generosity, which would take the rest of my life. At the moment I contribute little (which isnt always the case, ive sacrificed much for others financially and otherwise)
That being said, I dont like to be used, and assholes abound. A lot of times people just dont mesh well in close quarters too. Split food arrangements have always gone sour ime, borrowing and lending money frequently or in large sums as well

The kitchen sink is better to puke in if it has a garbage disposal, think about it!

pay your rent on time!!!!
this is my house what I say goes.
I can make rules, you cant. my rules are law no matter how irrational.
don't like it move out.
have them sign eviction papers up front and pay a deposit equal to the court costs for eviction. that way when you want them gon you just go to the courthouse and file.

Doing your own dishes is none of my business, as long as there are enough dishes left to get something going, and as long as the sink is free of your dish pile and there's a clear run to make food without hurdles.
Sharing meals and whatnot sounds fine but it could get iffy when it comes to smaller things,
If I am expecting to come home and eat a cheese sandwich, then good.
I don't want to have to make a detour to get more cheese in case the packet has been finished.
Some people have bigger appetites than others.
Food sharing sounds hetty in theory, but think of the cheese slice massacre.
