Is found through breathing?
Wait a minute. I didn't say it's experienced through breathing, I said it's found through breathing.
Strange, what would the lung organs have to do with any sense beyond touch and feel?
It just seems an explanation involving sensing subtleties would be needed.

I don't think there is a sixth sense. Maybe emotion is a sense. Feeling vibes.
All in all the brain can process information that is thought to be too complex for people.

We have more than 6 sense. We hear, touch, taste, feel, see. We can echo locate, we can spot sketchy, sense danger, feel reward, spot honesty, etc
We can sense a lot more than than school teaches you.

I can read someone's intentions just by briefly glancing at them
It's a skill I have been practicing for a while now, very useful

If youre referring to out of body experiences, it is the focus which brings it forward, breath control may contribute but I was taught not to linger on breath past the initial stage of slowing the mind. Instead the third eye, crown or heart chakra becomes the focus point. Yet in a manner it would be inaccurate to say one only focuses on that, it depends on your goal and the experience itself as it develops.
Anyways my experiences only go so far, just pointing out that breath control is more for calming the mind and focusing, OBEs are in no way dependant on pranayama
