I bought 200 doug fir seeds and im gonna try to grow two indoors and play with mychorhyzals. Anyone have any input?

boletes, chanterelles, and matsutake come to mind.  might be quite difficult acquiring spores though.

Haven't seen spores of those but have seen grain spawn everywhere.

Im gonna wait to do isolated fungi experiments till i have a flowhood and a better lab area and greenhouse setup. I do like to work my way there though. Though that thread would be more for advanced mycology vs. The ethnobotanical garden. Here im specifically looking at the effect of mychoryzal vs. No mychorhyzals for growth of the tree.

I made an Amanita Pesicina culture from a print I got in a trade here. I'm going to try this with the Oak tree I have and the seeds it produces.

I still need to get the culture DNA sequenced but from what I've read so far mycelium growth seems to look correct.
