My neighbor has galbladder cancer and is very.. distraught his life may be cut short..
Now i have found 4 large ganoderma specimens. How do i prpare it for its biggest effect?
Should i dehydrate and grind into a fine powder? That would seem to be the better option than tea for its bio-availability would be maximum.
What is a dose? How long should doses be continued for?
Any body have any medical advice?
I am a firm believer that for any ailment, nature has a cure for it.

I'm very interested in this as well.. I have 20 bags I inoculated last week when I found out a family member was diagnosed.. I was reading that people will make a tincture with reishi and other medicinal mushrooms to create a super tincture. I'll report back once I have all the info on their mixtures

Your neighbor may want to start a polypore regimen.
Reishi capsules, tea, tincture, shiitake stir fry, maitake salad, turkey tail capsules, etc. The mushroom's edibility tells you the best way to take it (reishi vs. maitake).
See the medicinal discussions in GGMM's polypore growth parameters and the recipes at the end. A mushroom farmer told me that reishi and shiitake potentiate each other.
To good health—medicine in food.

also take a look at curcumin. There are studies and anecdotes pointing to its ability to destroy tumors. Orally it has a very low bioavailability, but it can actually be injected (how it was administered in the studies).

It takes time to extracts medicinal mushrooms..
I suggest to try John Holliday products at Aloha Medicinal
For an example: http://www.alohamedicinals.com/immune-assist-critical-care-formula.html#.Vm-eo2qkH08
Then learn how to do double extractions..
I grow turkey tail reishi and buy wild chaga chunks on e-bay..
All three products are very good for the immune system.
I supply two doctors and have a few steady customers through out the month.
I find it's best to have people Google for themselves. There's so much positive information on the net.
I wish the best for your neighbor...

This info is GOLD! From what I read, soaking in 190 proof alcohol for a couple months then double boil to reduce or crockpot all ingredients. Seems the best thing to do is get a mix of reishi, Changan turkey tail and someone is also adding lions mane..

If you grind chaga into a powder it only takes a few days to do a alcohol extraction..
I use 40% vodka..(80proof)
Try this calculator for the volume of your water extract to add to your alc.extract...
http://homedistiller.org/calcs/rad14701
use the Dilution Calculator and don't go under 28% alc...
Alcohol is a preservative so keep it 30-40% or you may have to keep your product refrigerated...
