Soaking Oats

Hi!
Does anyone has eperience in preparing oats with a soaking method? How long they should soak?Seems that everyone using oats prefers boil them..:rolleyes:

No need to soak oats.. Boil water to a rolling boil then dump your oats in and cover for 4-12 hours..
Oats are so forgiving.. You also don't need to drain them as much as others as they will soak up the excess moisture when being PCed..
Make sure to only fill you jars half way too cause they will expand when in the PC

I boil no longer than twenty minutes.
No pre-soak..

Take some scissors and cut the oats in two.

If they are white let them boil longer.

When they are  gray in the center they are ready to dump in the strainer...
