Could I modify these Pyrex dishes for agar work?

My girlfriend uses these for lunch.
I've thought about making a GE hole and using these dishes for agar.
Thoughts and opinions please.

If you do make them work, what's your girl going to do for her lunches? She gonna be pissed. Haha. Why not just get some glad mini rounds. I'm going to guess and say they are probably cheaper than Pyrex.

Yeah, I've got plenty of mini rounds, just looking for a couple of these for myself, with a little more structural integrity I suppose. She can keep the ones she's got of course.

As long as the plastic don't melt in the pc your good to pop a hole and cover it.

If the Snapware line is the same as their Glasslock products, the lid is polypropylene so it should PC just fine.
