Could Use A Book Recommendation

The title pretty well sums it up. I'm just about done with my current book, The God Delusion (so fucking good), and I'm not sure which one to jump to next.
Any good recommendations?
Here's a sample shot of my most recent reads if that helps...
Doctor Dealer Predictably Irrational The Sun Also Rises The Old Man and the Sea Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas In Cold Blood Less Than Zero Dispatches The Rider The Call of the Wild
I was MAYBE thinking my next book would be something about philosophy, which I know very little about, so it would need to be a beginners level book on the subject if that's the genre I go with.
I also like the classics. I didn't read much growing up including the books that all of us were supposed to read when we were coming up through school...ie Call Of the Wild, In Cold Blood, Hemingway, etc.
My general interests include...true crime, drugs, partying, gonzo/new journalism, cycling, dogs. But the book would not need to be limited to those subjects.
Soooooo....any suggestions?

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Huxley, Doors of Perception is great read. Alan Watts is a great philosopher also.
Huxley was so far ahead of the times he lived. Brave New World was the only required read I ever completed in junior high.

I really enjoyed "The Dictator's Handbook". It's a pretty good rood about the current state of affairs regarding politics.

I've read a ton of philosophical novels like The Stranger, The Metamorphosis, Brave New World, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance but Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, and The Third Chimpanzee by Jared Diamond were the most influential for developing my perspective of the world.

Malcolm Gladwell has some interesting books, I have read two of his books, Outliers, and Blink, both were good reads which make you think.
Anything by Jung, I am currently reading this, which the first 30 pages have been eye opening to say the least.

I recommed "Empire of the Summer Moon" by S Gwynne. I just told CookieCrumbs about it since we was talking about injun's mad archery skills. It's about Quanah Parker and the fights of the Comanche to survive being overrun, but very compelling for a nonfiction.

Yeah, sounds like a real gut-buster. Here's a cut and paste of a portion of the review on amazon books...
Witness the utter depravity and grotesquery which is contained within the Halls of Hell and its relation to all mankind. Behold, the end of man is at hand! In no way is the author of this work responsible for nausea, insanity, or projectile vomiting. This book was commissioned by the Devil himself.

i'll excerpt a tiny bit of it, for your viewing pleasure.
"A wheelchair-bound dwarf with severe deformities is now wheeling around wildly in the middle of the empty street, making gagging sounds, eventually hitting the curb and falling over sideways, dangling there, strapped into his little motorized dwarf-throne. Thus suspended, he joins them in puking and crying and sweating, and a river of dwarf shit soon joins the rest of the foulness, running from his ass and under the chair, suspending him above a torrent of his own diarrhea.
Suddenly the homeless man stops wretching stands up with great haste- staring around with an insane look to him...."
all this after discovering the foul flavor of "mushroom" in the beef hamburgers at the local diner- while a meat-processing plant has run afoul with lacking safety-regs.
that's just an excerpt.
