Got some horse poo wanna try my first monotub 18 gallon. Thinking going 7 jars spawn. 10 jars horse poo, 2 verm and 1 cup gypsum but be for I dive in does this horse poo look good. When I picked up I seen white clumps so I thought that what I was going for also got some nugs as you see in pictures. What do you guys think?

Some of that poo still looks kinda fresh to me mate. I'm not an expert on it but I have been researching it a little since I want to use it on my next project. From what I've read If it still smells like shit it isn't ready to be used yet. If it still smells like poo or has an ammonia smell to it, it will need to be leeched first. Best way is to spread it out in the sun on a screen or something similar and let dry, then rinse it well with water and then let it dry again. You repeat this process till it no longer smells of poo or ammonia. There is a Tek on it I believe.
Another thing to think about is do you know what the horses diet is? It may be a determining factor if it is good to use or not. I am sure a trusted cultivator will respond soon.

So do you know the horses diet? The reason I ask is that some grains that are used in feeding have fungicides in them. Sounds like it's your horse so I'm sure you already thought of that one.

why wouldnt it work?
fungicides only stops spores from germinating, and we dont shoot spores into manure.

thats some decent poo. let it dry out more.
try to put it ontop of news paper or a wire screen if possible to help it dry. you want it to crumble like dry ass dirt. also get field only. stay away from his stable poo. it has horse bedding in it which is no good for shrooms.
hit your friend up like everyday for poo. does he know what its used for? definitely repay the poo with some fungus
