Anyone live in Colorado, suggest good cities to live?

I know this is a travel post, but that board is deader than dead, so I hope this can stick around here for some visibility.
I'm looking up stuff on best cities to live in, but wanted to see if anyone living in Colorado or has been there could give me any suggestions on good cities to look into.
Things like maybe cheaper rent, more jobs, more bud shops per capita, that sort of thing. I've been researching on the internet, but I'd be interested if anyone has input on living in the great smokey state of CO?
Any input appreciated fellow shroomers!

Move to Nevada if you want mountains and weed. Colorado's housing market is atrocious. If you are dead set on it though, move to Greeley. It's cheaper than most places. Colorado Springs might be just as cheap too. But you're still gonna pay like 600-800 a month for a 1 bedroom apt.

Greely smells like shit, but I guess you would probably get used to it if you lived there.
I like Grand Junction. It's kind of conservative, no dispensaries, but I like how it's situated between Moab and the mountains. More of a desert vibe, and not so blown up like the front range cities.

Well bud shops, Denver man. Check out Leagle, they're the best ive found IMO, they do a 30 day dry followed by a 60 day cure. Jobs are always around for skilled workers. Denver is pricey, but there is no "ghetto" area in Denver, and what you might hear as the ghetto area, like five points, is a joke if youve ever really been hanging on the street in Burbank, shit Milwaukee is more dangerous in my book than Denver.
Got a job coming in? You're going to need to have it figured out ahead of time I'd say. Housing is still bad, but that bubble is going to burst soon, I'd wait before you come. Housing is as bad price wise in Denver as it was in the Williston/Minot area of ND in 2012, difference is there aren't as many high paying jobs here as there was up in ND. And if you were gonna score a trim job or something working with bud, the pay is only 12$ an hour, I think they have a hard time getting anyone who isnt stupid desperate to do it, most places are doing machine trim these days.
Also, legal bud or not, hilliary winning the popular vote or not, CO is a red right to work state, but the unions are still here if your interested in union jobs. I live in Manitou Springs, pay too much for my rent. Its usually about a dollar per sauare foot in the CO Springs area, but I have two porches, a solid view of Red Rocks Canyon, overview of Manitou, and a solid view of Pikes Peak, so they add a hundred some on to the tab for that.
The awful part about the Springs area is you need to get a med card, and I wont do it because then I cant get my conceal carry permit. So for Rec down here there are two places selling crappy bud for stupid prices, their "platinum" crap going for 80 with tax, and they try to charge 55 for a gram of shatter, I think thats without tax. So we drive up to Denver to get bud.
You can have it delivered thru CL, but alot of what they sell is worse than Maggie's crap, just 25 an eighth instead of 50, I stopped messing with them. One was a methed out homeless dude, lol, he was a trip.
CO is okay, I ended up here for different reasons than others who move out here, so maybe I just dont have the OMG, STARS IN MY EYES!!! crap that I see in other people. I'll always think ive bought better bud in states where it is illegal, but having it readily available is nice.
There are so many people around Denver you have to drive for hours into the mountains just to attempt to get away from them, and they are still there. Its so hard to find places to be alone, you have to head out to somewhere like Creede, and then you finally get away from them.
I did find a waterfall inside of a mountain thou, that was cool. You coulndt see it, just hear it, and it was too cold for me to get wet, so I gotta go back in the summer. I also found an abandoned mine, super old, and was able to go in and cut beautiful Amethyst off the walls, almost got bit by three big Diamond Backs when I accidentally wandered into a den site on a hillside. You should of seen my buddy running, lol.
Stay away from Pueblo, shit ass mexican tar, and rc cut up coke/meth. But housing is a steal down there.

Lol, I live in Greeley currently. It smells like shit, and no, I don't ever get use to it. I moved here in May and ended up in Greeley because of my dog. CO has a lot dog breed restrictions for rentals. I'm buying a house in the next year or two, but if you rent and have a pitbull, husky, malamute, or similar dog, you are going to have a hard time finding a place.
I'm in the process of checking out various small mountain towns to live. Estes Park is one of my favorite towns. I also want to check out Durango on the opposite end. Since I work at home, I'm trying to get away from the mass population of the front-range. I've been to Grand Junction once. The west side of CO is awesome is you can find work and don't mind being away from Denver.
Denver sucks. Traffics is terrible.
Avoid i25 at all costs if you value your live.
Livwell ha $99/oz's of flower for rec, and good wax for $30/g.

Grew up out in fountain. Just drove through grand junction, I had never been there I don't think
Super cool vibes out there. I was really digging it. That desert canyon vibe was hella cool, during the summer at least.

Am I cool enough to move to CO or what Big Worm dog?
Also thanks to everyone for the input, I'll be taking it all into consideration as I get closer, feel free to add more if you think of more!
Also I am really thinking Boulder just cause it'd be closer for family to drive down to check out Colorado, beyond being expensive is there any real down turns? People cool and shit there? I can handle expensive, I can't handle a shitty community whether their snobby bitches or hood ass mofo's.
I want to keep it hippy, some nice outdoor shit to do, and some relative peace (not like a college party town). Is Boulder cool or is Fort Collins all the same?
