I am not a regular user of benzos or similar analogues by any means... but i have eaten them on those rare occasions and the next day felt forgetful and even more quick tempered than usual, so i don't think it's only just with extended regular use at all.

Yeah, for me too, even if I don't take it for a while and then take it once, I notice I'll be much more irritable the next day, and have clenching jaws and all the symptoms of anxiety.
That's why I stopped taking the shit, that stuff is poison. For months after I stopped taking them my brain felt really cloudy and sluggish too, like I couldn't think or do anything remotely academic.

I agree with you on the whole shrooms and LSD for depression, but I also understand that it might not be the best treatment for everyone. My diagnosis is persistent major depressive disorder with melancholic features and I am currently under the care of a psychologist. I recently took LSD and mushrooms together at the same time to help with depression, and a week later, it seems to still be working. I wanted that change, however, and if someone doesn't either want the change or know a change needs to be made, I'm afraid that psychedelics may make their mental state worse. I wanted to understand why I felt so suicidal all the time and once the psychs kicked in, I was able to open that door wide and really peek in.
I'm 1000000000% behind the use of psychedelics to treat mental health issues, but I also think there needs to be a lot more research into the use of them before we start telling people to trip every time they feel depression setting in. They can be the key to unlocking the door to healing, but they may also be the key that unleashes the beast from its cage.

I always get a little depressed the week after a trip. Tripping exhausts me so much and takes so much energy out of me, I literally just want to sleep for an entire week after.

I have a younger friend who had self-admitted anger issues. He was on probation and couldn't smoke weed which he said was pretty much the answer to his problems. He's off probation, back on weed and pretty much stopped wanting to kill people who cheat at pool, etc.
But your shoe-tying problems could be more severe.

I have a friend (self) who has anger issues.
I think we all have issues controlling anger. We are human. Don't forget that!

When I take benzos anymore, they're great until the next day when I'm snapping and yelling at people for stupid shit like walking too close to me or not hitting the gas pedal a half second before the light changes. What you're describing below is what it sounds like when I take benzos.
I agree
Not tying to pry to MXtc
But I mean you are makin a thread asking for advice n help about your anger issues/ dooshnozzle issue I just woke up abd I'm still a lil drunk so Ima be honest with what I perceive from you and your anger problems
From what I can tell you use n abuse Benzos and alcohol ( I think I recall you said you quit drinking or something) but Benzos are still and a stronger gaba agonist
Maybe a lot of your anger n frustrations stem from,, some aspects of your life and or it could be could be mild Benzos WD

I was gonna say to the one poster on the previous page that Anger, Anxiety, and Depression are branches of the same tree. All of them are manifestations of grief essentially. Ive heard Depression is worry of the past, Anxiety is worry of the future and Anger is worry in the present... A good rule of thumb for people suffering from any negative emotion is for them to keep reminding themselves that those tough feelings are temporary, theyll pass.
Trams make me irritable too. My dads like that as well. In fact its pretty common with tram, i remember a poster a while here in ODD mentioned how tramadol put him on edge and in his own words would turn him into "bruce banner, the kind of guy who will fight someone in traffic at the drop of a hat." it has stimulant like properties and plays on mood big time due to the serotonin/SSRI aspect of the drug.
Opiates in general have the ability to bring out rage and irritability while high on them.
Now like you said i think benzos just like alcohol causes those addicted to have a shorter fuse. Drunks especially can really get nasty when sober as well as easy to set off while drunk. I have family members who are serious alcoholics that hands and whole body for that matter shake like a leaf. And is unapproachable and grouchy as fuck til they have like 4 or so drinks.
