I finally picked a hobby

Ive been kind wondering for years what made people want to do stupid hobbies, until recently when I realized how interested in survival-type camping I was. Anyone who lives in Colorado and loves camping/survival, hit me with a PM and maybe we could do a trip together!

A little bit, I've watched some youtube videos and some of it seems like good sense and some seem like they're trying to just show off

well, take that showing off as a grain of salt man.
youtube is in most cases the only time a true master gets to showcase his/her skills. typically if you are going to have to use those skills.. not to many people are going to be around.

Its hard to tell the difference sometimes. I generally start an education from a point of absolute knowledge, I hate trying to figure out legit people with so little background
