Sooo Just for Today, how bout....just for today, you take care of your side of the street working on becoming a better person. You put it out there, she rejected it...let it go for now. Maybe the future will hold something different but just for today, that is not the case.

I guess all the other trolls rubbed off on you. Keep that up and I'll no longer like looking at your posts. Go back to posting good threads.

And I know. I just long to figure out the mystery.

Keep them our of your path of misery & destruction. Give them a chance to have a normal life and just leave them alone.

You know you're unstable and seeping with 5 kinds of drama, do something responsible for once and leave them be.

so your dream is to pay child support to a woman that mush have slept around a lot
and has a kid you're just hoping is yours with nothing other than the circumstantial
evidence that she favors you a little? most kids these days have 2 eyes, a nose and
a mouth, they typically even have a couple of ears, once on each side of their head
and based on that criteria, it seems most of the kids are yours

Yeah that's actually a good point OP. If you're a fuck up and you know it. The best parenting you can give your kid is not to be bad influence in their lives. Let them grow up before engaging. No kid wants to see a tattooed up rotten teeth junkie and call him dad...

If you know who you are act accordingly.

If you're a outstanding person, then maybe talk to the mom first.

That's why I suggested he be a 'friend' until both of them are ready, if they're ever ready at all.

It's the smart thing to do. Perhaps when I get well, maybe there is a chance?

I had a baby with a black girl and will probably never see her so i can kind of relate.

Just be glad that he/she has a family and let things be.

7 years ago I had sex with this chick I knew from school twice in a month. Next thing I knew I heard she was pregnant. I asked someone and they told me it was some others dude's.. Last year I was looking at facebook and came across the little girl who is now 7 almost.

She looks exactly like me. MY smile, my eyes, everything. This has been in my dreams it's bothering me. She has some other dude paying child support. She won't talk to me at all.. I Don't know what I ever did wrong to her.. I got really messed up on pharms after we had sex and had a mental break so that was the last time we seen each.

Now she is married to a friend I know and they've already had another kid.. IF this is my daughter I want something to do with her I just don't know how to move forward with this..

Terence had a lot to say about the obsession with male paternity. Let it go, she is not your child, she is the female's child. She went through labor to bring a child into the world; she's the only one that has a right to a say in raising her. It makes no difference who the sperm donor is.

Now, sometimes an adult male (biological or adoptive) plays a key role in the child's development. This is fatherhood. Who cares whether dad fertilized mom's egg, he's still dad; the child forms a bond with him not because of a genetic link but because of the nurturing role he plays in her/his childhood.

Well that's great then hurdle #1 is out of the way. I didnt mean to insult by the way. Just know who you are before jumping a kids life, completely shattering the guy who thinks hes is father.

I would engage the mother alone and not be pushy at all about it. Just give her the heads up l, compare the similarities between her and the kid and give her time so she can wrap her head around it all

The wait and see
