well the sponge did not colinize if you read the last experament so I tried somting else last night, I was looking threw the cabinets in ths kitchen to see what else might be a good substrate for shroomys, if you havent noticed I like to play around alot,
so here is the new try I have no idea if it will work
1 pint jar
ground up 1 cup of peacons
mixed with 1 cup vermaculite
and a tabble spoon of crushed oyster shells
then injected .5 cc of malabar

this mix was then sterlized in a pint jar well it looks like it will work probly wont but what the heck, nuts and kinda like giant bird seed right?

ok guru'   s you called it last time what do you think about ground nuts?

The way you worded it above sounds like you injected with spores and THEN sterilized, is that the way you did it?

And i doubt peanuts will work..to oily.

What do you have against BRF? or Grain?

Dont get me wrong, nothing wrong with trying new things but maybe you should start with what does work and go from there.
