Dried Cyan ID

Hello family. My friend picked some mushrooms and he says they are cyans and while I have a strong familiarity with cubensis, I cannot say the same about cyans and thus wanted to seek your help before anyone consumed any of these specimens. While he is confident, I tend to act with more prudence and thus wanted to get the advice of some of you to help minimise any risk. Some of the mushrooms do appear to be slightly bruised blue, but I am still unsure. I attached some pics to this post. The habitat in which these mushrooms were found is the Humboldt County dunes which, according to many posts on this site, do yield cyans. Sporeprints were not taken prior to drying.

Thank you, sincerely, for the very prompt response I just wanted to be sure because I hear there are some deadly look alikes and that is the last thing I want to encounter.

The cap margin drops A lot.
I have A lot of dried Cyans and Allenii in the closet. These look more like my Alleniis than cyans.

The cap ratio to stem length seemed off to me. Possibly cyan but also other psychoactive options. I'm not suggesting P. azurescens here but they tend to have a larger cap ratio than cyans.
Maybe cyan, maybe allenii. Can your guy return and take a photo of fresh ones?

No chance on going back to the spot because of unceasing rains and final exams. Now I'm thinking that I shouldn't take them because of the questionable ID

But how will you pass those exams if you don't take them? lol
I think people would've warned you if they looked like toxic Galerina or another nasty species. They look like Psilocybes to me, just hard to say exactly what species since they are dry.

You're good to go, in my humble opinion, but also imho, shrooms and hard work don't mix (unless you're a professional drug taster)

They're definitely Psilocybe though, so you don't have to worry about anything.

Unceasing rain means you SHOULD DEFINITELY go back. Studies are important too.
