My sub is falling apart
    #23903395 - 12/07/16 01:31 PM (7 years, 2 months ago)

So I didn't use a liner and I removed the block from my tub and I had a couple decent size chunks fall off of it. One at the bottom and a good piece off the corner. Can I keep the tub. Will it cause me problems and also I already know a liner will help prevent this in the future I'm sure. If you need pictures let me know but I thought this was kinda pointless to post a pic of it.

Cool good to know. I think I'm gonna start using liners from now on. Seems like it would make things a little cleaner and prevent this. That was amongs the second group of tubs if ever made so I was like fuck it.

Any good tips on hydration? Also what's the difference between 3 and 6 inch depth on the block? More flushes?

No need t hydrate a mono if you're initial moisture content is good.

What do you mean by "bottom feed"?

Difference between 3" & 6" sub is you use more sub to make a 6" and then you'll toss more material.
Better to make two 3" subs... Or three 2" subs.

Also, better chance of a 6" sub going anaerobic in the center.... Leading to contam city baby.

I poured some water along the side of the sub and then let it sit for a couple hours then poured it off. Was probably pointless but I thought I seen some effectiveness in my first mini monos
