sclerotia jar - rusty specks - possible contam?

Hey all, sorry for the brand new account, I can't figure out why I'm locked out of my usual account. Not a veteran user but not a stranger to the forum either.
Anyway I've had great success with regular bulk grows in bins and greenhouses, but decided to do some sclerotia jars for fun, especially because I wasn't going to be around the house very much, popping in and out of town.
Got back and most of my jars are fully colonized with pretty good sized sclerotia, although some had patches of UN-colonized rye grain, but still formed sizeable sclerotia. I shook these up and hopefully that was the right move.
However, this ONE jar has a funny appearance toward the bottom. I've included pics of the "normal" looking side of the jar, and the odd looking side. Basically there are little specks on the bottom and lower sides, and some orange streaks, though I'm not sure if the orange is related to the specks. This is also probably the most developed jar out of the batch, maybe 4-6 weeks old.
Is this some kind of contam? Would it be better to just harvest it now rather than take a risk, or does it look pretty normal? No other signs of contam besides these specks -- some of the other jars did contam and did not bear any resemblance to this issue.

actually upon re-observation, the specks are NOT black, but rather brownish or rust-colored, almost like vermiculite dust. And the orange is DEFINITELY coming from those spots.

Shaking is not the best idea for sclerotia jars. Did the uncolonized parts look wet? Do you have pictures of the jars before you shook them?
Can you post a picture of your lids? What filter material do you use? Is it possible that metal shards of the lids came in the inside of the jars? I have seen something like this before when one guy punched holes in his PF tek jars while he left the lids on. Rust developed on the bottom of the jars because of metal shards.

The other jars: Uncolonized parts did not look wet, and unfortunately no pictures. It was a little cold in the room when I got there. They started from agar, and most of the uncolonized spots were bottom pockets of the jars, so it didn't seem particularly contam-related.
The bad ones had very obvious contams, wet look or grayish/black discoloration.
What kind of damage does shaking cause? Did I shoot myself in the foot?
Regarding lids: I use synthetic filter discs about an inch diameter, I think my holes are a lot smaller though. Some are pre-cut into rounds and others were cut from larger discs, sealed with silicon on both sides, so rust is unlikely but definitely possible. Is rust a contam that can be tolerated? Never had that before.
Again, lots of experience with colonizing jars, just not sclerotia.

I experienced less sclerotia production when I shook my jars.
Observe the parts that look rusty. Maybe mark those parts with a pen to see if it expands/grows.
