Primordia doesn't appear?

This is my first growing (cubensis mazatapec) 9 jars inoculated in october 26. All went well, no contamination in any of inoculated jars. Im still waiting for primordia to appear. All cakes look perfectly contaminated. In one jar is already one piece of primordia, pretty much big, but not even one tiny in any other. It has been 6 weeks since inoculation and it seems to me quite long time. Im confused, i dont know if I should wait longer for primordia to appear in every jar...? Or should I birth the cakes?

Go for it. Why didn't you take off the foil?

actually because i wasn't sure how was I supposed to do it. If I should let the tape on, foil, or let the holes uncovered. So for next time - after inoculation remove the tape and let the jars uncovered?

Don't remove the tape after inoculation. That'll let contams get to your cake. Remove the foil to aid in gas exchange across the tape.
For future reference, when your cake gets to 100% give it no more than a week more to consolidate then birth, dunk n roll.
You're not waiting for pins to form with the cake in the jar. You're initiating fruiting conditions when the colony consumes 100% of the cake.
Read up mate, you're getting there.

So the primordia doesn't necessarily need to appear? Does it depend on a strain or..? So how do I know that the cakes are ready for a birth? Are these hyphal knots also a sign of matured cake?
EDIT: Jabensis - thanx, I get it. Now I have to learn how to recognize the fully colonization.

The tape is not nessecary if you use proper pf tek with dry verm layer. OP, you should read the TEKs here. All your questions are answered in a million other pf tek threads including the PF tek videos by RR. Nobody is going to do this for you. Get on it kid. Dick

I have read TEKs, I have watched videos. many. But as you can see, one says the tape should stay and other that the tape is not necessary. some things may be sometimes confusing. thats how Ive read that I have to wait till primordia appears..

when the cake is fully colonized on the outside let it sit for about a week so that the inside of it colonizes too.
Thats the only thing you have to wait for.
After you pressure cook, remove the tinfoil off the jar lids.
The micropore tape stays on.
The tape stays on so that the general air exchange can happen. With the tin foil still on its harder for air exchange to happen .
