For Pasty's Easy Agar Tek, what can I use instead of papertowels on the lids? (something reusable)

I'm just trying to be environmentally conscious. I save all the papertowels and the foils that I use for the agar so that I could reuse them but after a couple runs they tend to fall apart, so I was wondering if there's anything else you guys use that's more environmentally friendly and renewable?

I have used round cotton makeup applicators, they last a while. But really if you recycle the towel after a few uses I don't really see it as that much waste given that they are a product made from recycled materials to begin with.

I use poly as filters, and if you stuff it tight enough, you don't need foil or towels lol. If a bit of water gets in, no big deal. Agar is pretty much liquid anyway, if we're talking about grains, that is much different. You absolutely don't want any water getting in.

The only reason ive ever had to replace a paper towel was because i ran out of room to write on. If ur towels are falling apart after a few pc cycles, buy better paper towels.
