Supposedly there's the "one drop" rule which means even if you're 1/20th you're still considered black.
Ultimately though it's like with anything else racial, it all depends on how you look. Somebody who is perceived as white is going to be treated as white and have a white experience even if they're half black or Cherokee or whatever, somebody who is perceived as Asian is going to be perceived as Asian even if they're really Latino or whatever.

So you could be an anscetorial African with light skin and be accused of appropriating your own culture? Hilarious.

Yes, and that's exactly why I've said all along that cultural appropriation is bullshit, and so is the concept of racial purity, is specifically for that reason.
Ultimately in the end we all come from the same place if you trace back far enough.
I mean, just realize that if you trace back only a few generations, virtually almost all of us were not even residing in this country yet. Go back even further, and you likely come from another country, then another country, and then another country. You don't even have to go back that far to realize that your family's already lived in 5 different countries within 20 generations of time.
And when you include indirect relatives like cousins into the picture, your family could be all over the map in 40 different countries. You probably have 3rd cousins or 5th cousins right now currently living in Saudi Arabia or Brazil, without even realizing it.
Here's an example of a notorious KKK grand wizard always promoting racial purity, he is the same one who's gotten famous for trying to turn his town into an "all whites only" town, turns out DNA tests have showed him to be 14% Sub-Saharan African.
I love how he later tries to claim that DNA tests are a liberal conspiracy and not a real thing that should be trusted.
Not only that, but these DNA tests are only able to trace back up to 10 generations or something, so even if you score 99% on these genetic ancestry tests, it's still not proof that you are racially "pure." Apparently if you are seeking a particular ancestor that is more than a couple generations removed, you might not carry enough of their ethnic mixture to be identified.
So the fact that he is 14% black at that, not only proves that one of his more recent kin was likely black, it also proves it was likely one of his grandparents or great grandparents as well, that's how recently he was mixed.

I'm just gonna leave this here
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heterosis
Quote:
Heterosis, hybrid vigor, or outbreeding enhancement, is the improved or increased function of any biological quality in a hybrid offspring. The adjective derived from heterosis is heterotic. An offspring exhibits heterosis if its traits are enhanced as a result of mixing the genetic contributions of its parents. These effects can be due to Mendelian or non-Mendelian inheritance.
One example of where particular genes may be important in vertebrate animals for heterosis is the major histocompatibility complex (MHC). Vertebrates inherit several copies of both MHC class I and MHC class II from each parent, which are used in antigen presentation as part of the adaptive immune system. Each different copy of the genes is able to bind and present a different set of potential peptides to T-lymphocytes. These genes are highly polymorphic throughout populations, but will be more similar in smaller, more closely related populations. Breeding between more genetically distant individuals will decrease the chance of inheriting two alleles which are the same or similar, allowing a more diverse range of peptides to be presented. This therefore gives a decreased chance that any particular pathogen will not be recognised, and means that more antigenic proteins on any pathogen are likely to be recognised, giving a greater range of T-cell activation and therefore a greater response. This will also mean that the immunity acquired to the pathogen will be against a greater range of antigens, meaning that the pathogen must mutate more before immunity is lost. Thus hybrids will be less likely to be succumb to pathogenic disease and will be more capable of fighting off infection.
Heterosis is used to increase yields, uniformity, and vigor. Hybrid breeding methods are used in maize, sorghum, rice, sugar beet, onion, spinach, sunflowers, broccoli and to create a more psychoactive cannabis.
In 2013, a study found that mixed breeds live on average 1.2 years longer than pure breeds.[16] John Scott and John L. Fuller performed a detailed study of purebred cocker spaniels, purebred basenjis, and hybrids between them.[17] They found that hybrids ran faster than either parent, perhaps due to heterosis.
Heterosis has also been cited as a possible explanation for why people of mixed-race are perceived to be more attractive.[24]

Reason I ask is, I'm sure you've heard the racial shit for sicilians? about the moors and all that nonsense. Which I know theres debate to them being black, but a coworker likes telling me I have eggplant in me and am a wild beast at heart, not to deny my nature. So I call him an inbred french cock sucker (i tell him he has long history of cocksuckers in his family since he decided to brag about grandpa being a fucking jesuit) all in good fun, we chuckle and shake hands. But I just need to know if he's right. Idk if this is a sign, but when i tan, my dad makes fun of me for getting "black people" feet where they get darker ontop and lighter on bottom, madre gets them even worse. Her side of the family are technically fucking gypsies. Moving from one Europeans country to another to avoid arrest then finally settling in new mexico/cali.
It's actually pretty interesting learning about ones heritage. For example I recently learned about my grandmothers side, the dempseys. Meaning of the last name makes a whole lot of sense now and they were bad asses to boot. Crazy micks that fought people off for quite a while.

Yeah it's funny, I have a friend who's super racist and sexist (he's 100% Swedish or so he claims and voted for Trump), and he doesn't consider Italians to be white even.
I know Italians get super dark when they tan, I get really dark when I tan too. Hence why I was asked if I was Filipino when I was on swim team.
What kind of gypsies, Romanichal?
What is a mick again? I don't remember my racist slang all that well. Is that an Irish? Sounds like the name that would be given to an Irish.
But yeah, that's the stereotype about Irish, is they're nuts haha. That's the stereotype about Sicilians too, but the Sicilians in a different way, a more passionate and emotional kind of way.

As irish of a last name as you can get, you'd like the surnames meaning "proud/arrogant". HA HA ha... I remember grandma going oooooooffffff on grandpa when he drank and shit lol.
That's actually what I'm trying to find out right now is wtf is on my moms side (not the irish side) we know theres italian german and french. But my mothers mom has the last name armijo which literally translates to soldier. this is the side of the family who's into some rather odd spiritual beliefs. It's where the dark skin comes from too. When trying to figure this out the weirdest side of the that section of the family is my aunt, everyone in the family fears her. looking into her parents. no records. none. we found the dads grave in new mexico. His name was jacob shorkley, but when we tried to find any records of him he was literally a ghost when alive. the wife we can't find at all. she of all heritages was ashkenazi jew and was supposedly into all that "witchcraft" woo woo and fear just as much as the aunt who I'm assuming learned whatever she knows from her.
The reason I call them gypsies is because they never had a permanent home. Always moving from country to country in Europe running from what political figure/crime. Side is rampant with fucked up people ranging from the simple addict to a loan shark named "freddy the leg breaker" in san pedro cali. Even a couple of pedos that are now locked up thankfully. I remember my mom telling me about 2 uncles who went to prison for killing a cop. idiots supposedly didn't take his uniform off when dumping him and his new shoes in the sea. badge and everything washed up. I want to know what the fuck is up with these people. why is this side of the family so batshit insane. where the fuck are the from.

Sounds just like a stereotypical gypsy
I strongly recommend getting DNA tested to your ethnic ancestry examined. Not only will it tell you what ethnic regions you are matched with, it will also give you a list of any of your distant relatives and cousins who also submitted their DNA and matched with yours. I found a lot of 5th to 8th cousins, and a few 3rd cousins living all over the world.
I recommend 23andme.com, I wish I had gone with them over ancestryDNA, because 23andMe has a more specific profile and breakdown of individual countries, specifically the different countries in Europe and Asia, as opposed to general regions. The test that I took on ancestryDNA could only tell me I was "east Asian," which hardly told me anything at all. If I had taken it from 23andme, it could have told me I was Korean, Chinese, Japanese, or other regions.
I'm thinking one day for Christmas or something I'll get the DNA test for my dad, since he would probably be into that sort of thing.
You're at an advantage, because supposedly it's a lot better if you use a male's DNA, since the tests use the Y chromosome to trace both maternal and paternal ancestry.
Women don't have the Y chromosome so they are only able to trace their maternal ancestry. Therefore, since I submitted my own DNA, I can only say for sure that everybody on my mom's side within the past 10 generations or whatever is "East Asian."

I was actually looking at doing this to find out what diet would be best for me, what kind of shit to avoid based on genetics. Pretty much looking at optimizing my bodies performance, and energy intake/output. Very curious to find out exact genetic make up because honestly "french" doesnt say jack shit about it. You can get a rough idea of what groups passed through but that's it. I'd be very curious to find out what kind fo caveman dna i have and all that shit. I'm guessing cro mag. height/build being the only reason. But i do know if you send it to this European company than can tell you some pretty cool shit like if your one of the few people in the world with a natural immunity to the aids virus.
