I really enjoy progressive metal stuff like Animals As Leaders, Tech Death stuff like Rings Of Saturn and Necrophagist, and Classical stuff like Vivaldi, Pachelbel, and Chopin when tripping. All depending on the vibe of the trip and what I'm tripping on of course. What about you guys?

I've definitely heard a lot of people talk about how great of tripping music Shpongle is. I've yet to try it though, I'll definitely have to next time. Any songs in specific you'd recommend?

The entire museum of consciousness album, about an hour into your trip play it. Turn the lights off, kick back relax and close your eyes.

I like a lot of blues music personally.
Tab beniot, bb king, muddy waters, Joe b. And then of course the classic rock/psych rock like pink floyd led Zeppelin and of course I always dedicate a good hour to listening to some jimi Hendrix.
Some more modern stuff like cage the elephant, the white stripes, or Gary Clark Jr.

I listen to quite a lot of classical when I'm tripping, especially baroque. I'm a really big fan of Vivaldi and Bach in particular

I have to say, I don't think any group comes close to the quality music of shpongle. They are unlike any other imo...

Mark Farina. I love house music or drum and bass when I'm tripping.
I love Necrophagist but have never listened to them tripping. I'll try that next time.

Nothing like riding around the city in the passenger seat of a car with a kick ass stereo system just pounding. Something about that vibration just intensifies the trip alot

I had a particularly intense 2c-t2 trip years ago. When we left my friends house it was early morning with the sun just coming up. We listened to "Come to Daddy" by Aphex Twin. It was cool and slightly foggy. The rolling southern California hills combined with the after effects and music was fucking amazing.

That was great!!
I like some Sphongle but for the most part find it pretty "meh" but I do like Hallucinogen and used to listen to his material on LSD a lot.
As for classical music, Wagner is a composer I like to put on while tripping.

Pink Floyd albums take me the deepest. No "playlist" the albums in entirety are like a book, songs are like chapters. Pink Floyd made these albums to guide us in our journeys. Try it if you haven't.

Porcupine Tree - Voyage 34 The complete trip
For you folks that like Floyd, this is a huge tip of the hat to them.

The wall starts and ends continually, it's essentially a big ass loop of an album. Love it.
