Obscure? Shit talk to google. Very little things are unknown in this day and age. All the ones youve mentioned are known.

No need to get defensive, he was just saying a simple google search will do. I'm pretty sure Wikipedia has a huge list of psychoactive plants, and as someone else mentioned erowid.

Thanks for the tip, but kratom is not obscure anymore, it is actually so popular it was banned.

It's not like the internet holds all humanity's knowledge. Shroomery have members from all around the world, some of them could be aware of plants we would never imagine. That's why I asked.

I think the general consensus would be if there are some plant/substance of any notable quality out there someone would have said something about it and that info would have made it onto the internet in some fashion. Gone are the days where you had to hike for weeks though come third world country on the off rumor of some new plant, unless the substance is undiscovered by man or is only know by some lost tribe someone would have carried knowledge of that out of the area and would have eventually reached someone with a phone, computer ect. Besides if you asking about it here its not unknown, because again the second anything of remote value to the entheogenic community is discovered you can bet everyone will become aware of it very quickly. And the internet pretty much is a repository for the cumulative human knowledge, any meaningful information has been cataloged and archived, usually by university run programs with the explicit purpose of making said knowledge accessible.

Yaupon Holly Grows EVERYWHERE in my area. It would be no problem to collect hundreds of pounds and not put a dent in the population. Never tried it...I'll collect some next time im out deer hunting and report back how the tea is.

I know there are hundreds of them listed on wikipedia, erowid or whatever, I don't want a list of all existing psychoactive plants.
The point of this thread is to discuss about underrated obscure plants, the ones that have great recreational potential, but not many people talk about.

There are tons of plants fitting that description, depending on the level of obscurity and psychoactivity you want. Erowid probably does have the best compiled list, with the possible exception of The Encyclopedia of Psychoactive Plants, which you can download from the internet. 95% of people probably don't even know what San Pedro is, so some would consider it obscure. Others would include E. novo, E coca, Khat, Iboga, Voacsnga Africana, klip dagga, lotus, datura, Hawaiian Baby Woodrose, P. viridis, B. cappi, acacia, etc. Very few people would recognize any of those. But I see the OPs purpose, this is an international forum and what might be common knowledge in one location may be unheard of in another. Salvia wasn't common knowledge until fairly recently, there has to be others out there.
