I use an agar mix of 6g lme to 12 g agar (to promote rhizo growth) and 600 ml distilled waterpc'd for 45 min then poured in front of a floowhood. Its generally taking my cultures 6-7 days to grow to the size of about a half dollar that's when i can start transferring sectors. I use three section petris because its easy to gauge when you should start transferring. Is that slow? whats optimum?

Thats pretty normal, 6 days to grow out a transfer is ok.
Edit* should be the size of a half dollar by then
I would bump your pc time up to an hour, 45 mins is the bare minimum.

False. 20 minutes at 15 PSI is plenty for MEA. You want to prevent Maillard reaction. I would not PC longer than 30 minutes.

6-7 days for a transfer to grow that size is good, considering it spends a day or two recovering from the transfer.

Pasty does his at 40-45, rr's video says 45.
Maybe an hour is overkill, ill have to read up on the maillard reaction, thanks and my apologies.

I can't say for sure but since the pressure in the PC is independent from the armospheric pressure, I can't imagine that it makes a different.
